The problam and its only My Opinion. Is that if Pac was to fight fighters at 140 or even 135 he might seriously hurt someone.

I mean Margo was the fittest i had seen him in years and he has a great chin. If a 140 guy took that beating say a Peterson or even a Soto they might die in the Ring.

Its why i feel they have not so much been picking easy opponents for Pac but guys that can survive that kind of punishment.

I just want you to be fair, since it seems that's what you are asking of me.

But since I like FLoyd as a fighter, you can't handle it. It's ok. I admire Pac as well, but I answered the question put to me.

You have done nothing but try, to no avail, to prove how witty you can be.

But you really have nothing to add to the convo. Why dont you post your actual opinion, and reasons for that opinion?

    Can you do that? :think

But Hatton wasnt forced to fight PBF. He called PBF out on TV, after the JLC fight, and insulted him, right on HBO.

If you insult the WW lineal champ, I would suggest you be prepared to fight him at 147. That's fair, no?

And also, I put the "won" in quotations referring to the Colazzo fight. That means I was being sarcastic.:good

I bet if Pacman was KOed by Margarito or Clottey, you guys wouldn't have voted Pacman. I guess it's a knock on Pacman for being so damm good that he makes guys 13-17 lbs bigger than him on fight night look like tomato cans while forgetting the fact that these guys were some of the most rugged and best WWs of this era.

PBF on the other hand, fought two naturally smaller men. His win over Mosley is very good and so is Hatton's but come on, what Pacman has been doing is unreal.

    1. hatton wasnt bloated. he was the best ricky hatton. it was a tough opponent for floyd to pin down until he had the point take off then he started steaming in. not saying ricky would have won but it would have been closer than it was.

    2. marquez wasnt tailor made but he wasnt exactly a major threat. notice how everyone says ''he was easy because floyd schooled him'' yet how many fighters do you know who could do that to marquez? not many i can assure you!!

    3. mosley wasnt slow. before this, everyone was calling out floyd to fight mosley and he did, and won! Kept coming forward and won 11/12 rounds.

... these 3 fighters are completely different styles of fighters and floyd fought differently against each one of them so how the hell can anyone say they are tailor made for floyd? if you say that then you could be saying that everyone is tailor made for him!!! :deal

    Pacquiao fought:

    1. cotto: wasnt the same cotto we all knew and it showed that in his previous fight to joshua clottey but even so this should have been pacs hardest fight since the marquez 'win'. not tailor made for pacquiao but damaged goods all the same.

2/3. clottey/margarito: big, strong, slow, ploddy, come forward fighters who have iron chins and size advantage. the only difference between the 2 of them where that margarito actually put up a fight. clottey came off a loss and margarito came from 12 months out and a **** comeback fight with garcia for ****s sake

    ................

if anyone fights tailor made fights.... its Pacquiao!!! :deal

I think they were all tailor made up to a certain point.. It's just that Pac fought against his opponents without a big advantage like Floyd did ie weighing in at 146 against the much smaller marquez.

Yes, but what are your reasons? I provide a detailed assesment, and you are taken aback by that. You just make a blanket statement, but you wont offer any details as to why?

C'mon, use some logic and reason. It wont hurt. :deal

I thought the question was "Who fought more Tailor made fighters in there last 3 fights, Pac or Mayweather?"

If that's the question than here's the ans... Pac has!! It's simple as that & not a hard question to ans!

Pac fought 3 guys who basically had no movement, slow, plodding come forward head 1st no defensive fighters! Clottey had a little defense but not a lick of offense or movement & again slow!! All in front of you and there to be hit!!

Mayweather fought 3 fighters w/3 different styles!! One a tactical counter puncher w/a high level of skills who can actually box(Marquez)!! One who was a boxer puncher w/speed & big power(Mosley)!! One who was a very aggressive pressure fighter & undefeated!! All were ranked in the top 10 P4P!!

Pacman, has fought 3 straight tailor made TOP RANK fighters. Floyd, fought 3 different styles of fighters and 2 were linear champs. Pacman fought 3 shop worn, tailor made ( come forward) fighters. Am, is a very old 32 and been fighting since "92" AND WAS RECENTLY KOED. Cotto, was recently koed when he fought Pacman and like Am fought at a weigh drain catch weight. Clottey, who is rumored to be 3 years older than he actually is lost all his big fights and doesn't throw enough punches and plays defense way to much. Pacman, fights the tailor made fighters.

Agreed. I have less of a problem with Mayweather's last few opponents (I didn't care much for the Marquez fight, but was happy with the Mosley & Hatton fights) as I do with his inactivity.

Yeah, 2 linear champs outside their divisions!

They were tailor-made for Floyd in that he had all the advantages. The Mosley fight was the only one Floyd really took a challenge

Whereas Pac went up in weight to fight 3 top 5 welterweight contenders, including two guys Floyd ducked. If you say those guys were all exactly the same style you might as well say Hatton and Mosley were the same style as well
