    When Dirrell did that he was a runner.

    This is why this fight was always so sweet to me, Froch, the tough guy, would ever trample over his principles or be KOd.

    No, Dirrel was a runner because he LITERALLY ran. Twice in the fight he looked up to see a punch coming towards him and actually dropped to his knees to avoid it.

    I dont think he can keep that up maybe a few rounds but the guy has no inside game nor can he jab and move fast, he can do it but too slow,and once abraham lands a punch eh will go trade with him and he will get ktfo.

    Sauerland: "Abraham trained proper for the time in his career. He improved his footwork and his agility."

    So both of them have something new to offer, maybe?

    Froch was never that tough, both times he has gone toe to toe at world level he has been the one coming off worse, against Taylor and Kessler.

    I fail to see how he came off worse against Taylor.

    That might Froch's best plan - utilize the superior height and reach, and rack up the points early on. That's assuming King Arthur will still be his casual self. But he's likely to have learned from the Dirrell fight, opting for a more active approach instead. He also seems genuinely pissed off. He's looking to inflict some serious pain in this fight.

    I spoke to Carl last Friday. A direct quote from the transcript;

    “First and foremost I want to jab and move – keep out of his way and not get hit. That’s the game plan. He’s going to want to come forward and clean me out, so I’m going to have to be moving and jabbing. If I’m not having any success, I’ll stand there and whack him, it might end up being a slugfest. He’s shorter than me, so he will want to get in at close-quarters, so it’s my job to keep him long. If I need to go to that dark lonely place in the trenches, taking grenades, I will do.”

    Indeed, like Hatton!! Mayweather Senior thaught him how to box more, but as soon he ate some leather from Pac, he charged in like a bull... right hook, roll under!! Same move every time... :lol:

    Of course Froch is going to run. He knows he's getting his limey jaw shattered.

    Well he should. He's not stupid and probably saw the Dirrell fight, his fight vs. Kessler, and the Miranda fight and decided to have a future in boxing. I'd also stick and move using my reach advantage, question is can Froch become effective with a style change, or will he can an already working style for something that might not?
