Well Rigo's people are up for it but Willie has plenty of business to attend to before taking on that task like that.

 

it would be a complete mismatch , casey needs plenty more european title fights before moving on to world level

As much as Rigo bored the hell out of me last time out he is still too good for Casey. Just too slick, too clever.

He'd get beaten handily by Rigo, but I think Casey would beat Steve Molitor.

 

How much more of payday would Rigo be though, assuming they're though held in Ireland.

You might think he'd lose to Kiko but you must admit it's more winable.

 

martinez and rigo are completley different animals , rigo would hammer martinez in 2 aswel .dont let the cordoba performance fool you it was just a horrible clash of styles , 2 counterpunching southpaws was never going to be a barnstormer

 

Terrible fight for Casey at this stage of his career and an almost assured loss. theres so many easier fights to be made for casey at this weight at this point in time. He needs to take it one step at a time and stay at european level for now. Maybe if he continues winning at european level for his next five or six fights then we can talk about throwing him in with the best in the divison
