What another bad result about Lauryn Eagle. There is no way that this fight was a draw. She was out classed by the other boxer and it's time that the judges start doing there work properly and don't keep on cheating the fighters that really won. That's why boxing is busy to die and MMA take over. No ref jump in for nothing and no cheating in the fights. Agreed she lost the fight.Who is looking after her this was too much of a stretch for her at this time,she needs to plant her feet a lil and really let them go,instead of a thousand pitty patty crappy punches.
haters. she did well against a much more experienced fighter.. thats girl has fought an aussie world champ and also 13 kick boxing outings. eagle did well. i fought a draw was a good result.. I want to know who won that 59-55 score.
Is that so........ I have seen staged UFC. I stoped buying it for this reason. I believe Dana White has offered fighters bonuses for results which did not finish on the mat. That is why fighters who are mat specilists have not gone to ground and fought out losses on thier feet. You need to watch (or re watch) UFC 118 & 119.......even the commentators were bringing up this point. Almost all fights both cards finished in UD's....****ing boring staged shite. I watched the highlights and Eagle looked like she was getting schooled. It was said that the judges took an extraodinary time to announce the resul which kept Eagle undefeated.
She lost easy, I was battling to score her 2rds at best. And the other girl was possible a better sort as well :hey Eagle was too chubby and has a bad nose.
Watching Eagle box last night was like watching a junkie window washer jump around after smoking a gram of crack. She has no technique and no style and she uses more energy screaming then when she's throwing punches. And what about the Ring announcment?? Former Miss 2006 and a world champion water skier? WHAT THE FU*K?? The way she kept shaking her head everytime she got clocked with a decent punch (nearly every 30 second) was just a sigh of how great she thinks she is. She needs to stick to water skiing for sure, she is embarrasing!!!
at least she is having a go!! not bigmouthing behind a keyboard. i never heard her say she was the best boxer in the world. and some r having a sook because she fought a good opponent. yet if she fights an easy opponent u will have a sook about that, lol.
She did ok, fought a better opponent and probably lost, but it wasn't as much of a loss as some seem to think IMO. A draw was pretty kind to her, but like Buster said, at least she's having a good go.
Its a sad state of boxing when all Eagle's pathetic fights are being televised & other "legit boxing prospects" around Australia like Omotoso or Mundraby cant get even get 1 date on tv.
