hayes power is exaggerated, if he caught wlad clean wlad would smile and throw a overhand right back at haye

:good He gets too excited and throws really, really wide punches.

Against Ruiz the right hand for the first KD was a beauty but he got too eager, went all out and Ruiz weathered the storm. If he'd being a bit more composed, picked his shots he would got the stoppage much earlier.

I dunno I think he's an excellent finisher, he destroyed Enzo when he smelt blood.Ruiz was just experienced enough to survive. Audley's an awkward git.

No, he's pretty much the heavyweight version of Pauli Maglinaggi

Nobody has stood up to it.

Even Valuev who was a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier got wobbled across the ring when Haye landed with his weaker hand.

It's very simplistic to say 'if Haye lands on Wlad's chin, what would happen' - a) Haye's going to be punching upwards, will lose power b) he's got to get past Wlad's jab c) Wlad will probably grab him if Haye lands anything clean d) Haye will be looking to land, but won't be able to commit fully because of what could come back

Most fighters do it these days.

Just knock a guy down and bumrush in throwing wild shots.

You've only got to look at Maidana vs Ortiz..... if Ortiz had thought about what he was doing he'd have banged Maidana out inside three rounds, instead he was put down himself and eventually gave up.

I doubt he needs to have Julian Jackson style power to trouble Wlad. He's just got to get to his chin first

I thought the Enzo sloppy was kinda wild as well, some of those hooks were from a different postcode! A more experienced fighter would have took a knee and brought some time.

(I'm not saying it would have changed the outcome or anything but Haye could have got a much cleaner KO if he picked his shot better).

Compare Haye's finishing to Marquez against Diaz I or Casamayor and Lennox in most of his stoppage wins, even Bruno who ddin't actually go down but the shot selection was superb. Just my opinion of course.

Gurov is my favourite Haye stoppage by the way, one right hand - lights out!

Nor am I. His fight with Monte Barrett may have been exciting, but Haye was very sloppy. The only reason Monte kept getting up was because Haye wasn't catching him clean.

It was Haye's over enthusiasm that got him put on his arse in that fight, he might not get away with against Wlad.

Lol of course Ishy Marquez is Mr Precise!! Lennox's shot selection well I was watching that Mercer/Lewis rerun the other week and he kept doing this body right body, right uppercut lef hook right hook combo whcih was just fecking sweet . I think Dave does pretty bloody well with the tools he's got. Lewis would have chiined Haye of course.:yep Gurov, straight down the pipe. Speed and precision

Longer the fight went, the braver Harrison would of grown.
