you get meatheads and douchebags in all sports, it's not exclusive to mma

anyway who gives a **** what other people wear, personally I would never wear tapout/affliction but have no problem with people who do, since some of the money they spend will go to the fighters

I like my gracie barra shirts, I have a venom bjj shirt and a venom hat, I like alot of the venom stuff, affliction is ugly as **** and I'm not paying $110au for an ugly shirt and tapout just has too many douches wearing their **** for me to be seen in it.

But I really can't stand these roided up weekend warriors trying to act intimidating and sporting a tapout shirt because for me people can relate tapout to BJJ and 90% of BJJ practicioners are completely the opposite to this, some of the friendliest people I've met are animals on the mat and don't find the need to advertise that fact with "tapout"in huge letters across their chest.

But yeah every sport has douches, I wa at an amatuer boxing charity event a few weeks ago and their were plenty of dickheads in attendance.

I generally despise the Affliction/Tapout attire, especially on a muscly looking guy with an ******* scowl on his face (I can't/wouldn't judge someone based on the look itself though, been proven wrong too many times.) It just looks like it tries way too hard to give off a hardcore baddass vibe and just fails. Not a hater, but it's just not my thing and looks unpleasant.

After seeing this, however, I was considering purchase. I was warned against the aforementioned connotations the brand & general design has and how it may not really suit me, but I think a Latino can get away with wearing something like this (especially the colors and design) without being seen as some sort of skinhead biker wannabe:

Personally I find the shirts a bit too busy, but they do work on some better than others. Agree 100% about the muscular guys with extra small affliction shirts look like jokes.

The coolest Affliction shirt I've ever seen was a variation on the cover of A Clockwork Orange with Alex holding the knife. I want that shirt!

So what are we saying here? You can't wear a football shirt unless you play football? You can't wear an Everlast t-shirt unless you box. You can't wear a Rolling Stones T shirt if you're not in a band? You can't wear a U.S.A t-shirt unless you suck ****?

    Long Hair

No tap out or afflication Shirts

I can watch boxing without thinking takedowns, although sometimes when i see an mma fight i am shock by takedowns (woaaa..forgot you could do that.)

I box 3 times a week, mma 3 times for about a year now. Never lift weights. I argue with the mma guys who talking about how they would own a boxer...they talk that **** all the time.

I do roll around with my friends sometimes though.

    yea....your safe....lol

actually a mma guy aganst a boxer..the two of equal skill in their respective diciplne..the mma guy will have the edge in a mma fight or street fight for sure....but you get some mma guys who think its a total wrap...
