How often do these boxers who are brutally knocked out ACTUALLY leave the ring on a stretcher? I mean, don't they just lie on the canvas for a while before getting up eventually?

The last time I remember a fighter leaving the ring on a stretcher was Kermit Cintron, after jumping through the ropes and whacking his neck on the ring apron. Maybe you are saying Maidana will hit Khan so hard he flies through the ring ropes and crashes onto the ring apron, but I think that unlikely at best.
