The guys who won the first matches would win the rematches...only quicker....except maybe Frazier-Chuvalo..George may hang around longer in a rematch and soak up a more gradual beating...maybe even making it to a decision loss.

well in the first lalonde ray fight lalonde was winning and had the momento going his way until ray changed the course of the fight around, however i think in the rematch a wiser lalonde would of stayed away more with his long jab and would of been told by his handlers to throw more right hands this would enable lalonde to either win on points or win by late round kayo, the furlano pryor fight was a good one to watch pryor knocked him down twice in the first round and thought he was on his way to a early victory, however after the first round the furlano team changed tactics and furlano was moving more and slipping punches and started to land inside shots that seemed to startle pryor this went on for the remainder of the fight with pryor winning,i think if a rematch would of taken place 6 months after the first fight furlano would of won the bout because he would of fought with the fight plan used at the start of the second round which had pryor startled and confused.chuvalo should of won the first fight the ref stopped the fight for no apparent reason in the rematch chuvalo would of won via kayo in similar fashion as his win over dejohn:think

First off, Sugar Ray never granted rematches, except Hearns, that was only because he thought Hearns was shot and it was eight years after their first fight. Secondly, none of these three fighte you mentioed were close enough to merrit rematches as usually the only fighters that get rematches in non-competitive fights are long reigning champions. Furlano was a non-entitiy who was only semi competitive in the Pryor fight. LaLonde was specifically targeted to get Sugar Ray another title, no way he was getting a rematch, Sugar was just using him as a stepping stone. Chuvalo was a Human Sponge, but who wanted to see Frazier pound on him again.

are you kidding are you posting as a jokster, lalonde was winning the fight until leonard received help from the ref when every time lalonde had leonard hurt the ref would step in and hold lalonde back, furlano actually went 15 rounds with pryor and had pryor backpeddling for most of the fight because of the combinations from furlano were landing at will and chuvalo was giving joe a boxing lesson until the fight got stopped because of what looked like to be a thumb in the eye these three fights all warranted rematches and the boxing commission should of sanctioned them:think
