1. Floyd is older than Pacquiao AND has been around boxing longer. Pacquiao has taken more punishment in the prize ring but Floyd has spent more time in the gym where the majority of damage is done to a fighter. There's no disputing any of that. 2. No.... In fact, experience tells us that Floyd fought the guy (Mosley) that destroyed Rockgloves, whereas Pacquiao's trainer, Roach, said that Mosley was too dangerous for Pacquiao. Then Pacquiao fought the guy was decimated by Mosley. That's just what experience tells us.
First bolded line is wtf. Roach also said that Pac would destroy BHop, do you believe him? Problem is, if Roach says Pac would KO Fmj, it's a joke. But when he says, I wouldnt allow Pac to fight Fmj coz he's a god, it becomes the 'truth'. Floyd sr also said Pac is on PEDS, and you guys believe that's the truth, but when he says Pac has missiles on his hands that could KO a heavyweight, it's sarcasm.
Here we go with FLOYD IS OLDER THAN PACQUIAO EXCUSE atsch Come on make it bigger, make it bigger... Spin it further...spin it further :happy:happy
In case you are not aware, most of the damage is done inside the ring fighting an official fight and not inside the gym doing some workouts. Can you tell us how many fights Floyd has and how many fights Pac has? Are you telling us that Roach got his Parkinson's from his workouts in the gym?
The right timing could be when Pac signs a contract with no cutoff for the testing or when the testing has advanced to the point where the cutoff does not matter. The USADA are reportedly working on a blood test that can detect usage of some banned substances, within two weeks after they've been used.
Lamply said something along the lines of this during the Pac-Marg PPV after the post fight interviews. "Years from now we'll look back and say Floyd was a genius, he made Pacquiao fight 5 bigger guys first" citing all this "waiting" that Mayweathers doing is really just letting Manny fight himself out. I don't know if its a coincidence but little fighters seem to age sooner then the bigger fighters (a Featherweight usually loses his first step around 31/34 and MW/HW is usually 35/39 and ). Maybe it has something to do with smaller fighters being speed orientated or maybe its that little fighters get hit more often and have less knockouts and more wars, who knows just some dumb **** i noticed and Pacquiao definitely has some miles on him.
Funny how people say Floyd is waiting for Pac to decline yet correct me if I'm wrong but were any of pacs last opponents in there primes? And when mosley first wanted the fight he got a no and now that he has considerably "declined" he is in the running for a fight with pac. Pac fans are such hipocrites who live in a world with one way roads.
The issue I have with Lampley's statement is that Manny was offered the fight in January, after he dominated 3 of the 5 "big guys", having only taken ANY type of punishment against one of them...Cotto. JMM damaged him more, or at least as much, in one fight, than these "5 big guys". Anyway, it was MANNY'S choice to fight two more even bigger guys, for significantly less money, in lieu of taking a blood test 14 days before the fight. So, if anybody is to blame for Manny's increased mileage...it's Manny.
Exactly...Floyd is facing these fighters when the public perception of them is FAVORABLE. Manny is facing them when the public perception of them is NOT FAVORABLE. And they are using the 'David and Goliath' angle to sell the fight.
