How can you really think Froch is a special fighter ?

He lost to Kessler.
He lost to Dirrel - Got a gift decision
Got knocked out by AA Saturday.

if he was not white he would be a journeyman.

 

He's just got a great attitude. That's all.

He's never been scared to commit to a difficult fight. But maybe this is due to him being a 'chaser' as oppose to the 'chased'. Taking difficult fights has never been a choice for someone like Carl.

But whatever the case, the Super Six is glad to still have him in it.

Froch is special because he's got an enormous heart - great, great fighting spirit. No matter what, Froch gives everything in the ring and defies his own technical shortcomings as a fighter to come out on top. Just look what he did while hopelessly behind on the scorecards against Jermain Taylor.
There are about 28496924 things to dislike about Froch, but the way he carries himself in the ring, is something to be desired in more fighters today.

I personally don't give a damn about Froch. I don't consider him special in anything in particular. The only reason I would say he is "special" is some damn reason he has this:

His face and nose, he is ugly. I heard she had a child with Mr. It here. Pray god, it doesn't have his looks.

 

Why do people still pretend that being white sells tickets? It never has. Khan has acheived far less and is much more popular. I'm white and I hate Froch.

 

Pascal is nothing special and either is Dirrell.
AA, Ward and Glen Johnson are special. Glen Johnson past his prime.

Truths - His girlfriend is super hot (although she is no jinky)
- He has massive heart
- he is part jewish and us blacks like Jews.

 

He lost a close fight to Kess(I agree with decision)he won a close fight with Pascal and with Dirrel.I dont think anyone is calling him an all time great.He is just known by most as a very good solid fighter who has 50/50 chance with anyone in the division.

 

Somebody needs to bone up on their boxing history before making **** threads like this one. I'm in favor of the bringing that boxing quiz back.

 

He lives about 10 miles from me, have met him on several occasions, sound bloke he is. A couple of days after the Dodson fight at the Ice Arena, I asked him what he wanted to achieve in the sport and he said the following:

"I know I haven't got the skills to become an ATG, however, I believe with the heart, determination and style that I have, I will be remembered as a fierce warrior who ducked nobody unlike the welsh fairy (Calzaghe)"

He then continued to abuse Calzaghe, when I interrupted him by asking, why do you hate him so much? Then he calmed down a bit and said "Look, I've got nothing against the guy (at this point, I thought, ok then, you've been calling him a ***** and a fairy for past 2 mins) but it's blatantly obviously that he took the easy path and never fought anybody of note"

Can't remember what else he said, this was about 4 yrs ago.

So yeh, he's not special by any means, but having said that, he brings and will bring loads of excitement into boxing, unlike the Welsh fairy who I know for a fact would have sidestepped the Super6 to keep his cherry intact and for that reason I'm proud to have someone like him representing us (Oh and the fact that he's from Nottingham lol)
