Pavlik drew me back when the HWs were petering out. Same with Pacquiao and Cotto. Trouble is Cotto and and Pavlik aren't towers of power they once were. I am sure Pavlik too could go up to SMW like Cotto did to LMW, challenge and beat easily Stieglitz in his backyard for a belt. Maybe he ought to. His stock with fight fans has sunk hard.

Froch- His resume is so consistent but hes not a superstar in the UK, he reminds me of an honest throwback fighter who fights with heart and plenty of confidence.

Jermain Taylor also as previously mentioned

I tend to pick-up the fighter's people have thrown away...
Like let's think recently, Paul Williams for example.

I have always admired dudes warrior mentality & his extreme conditioning.
Now that he got KTFO, The fakes can be shaken & his real fans can back him.
(So expect some P Willy avi's coming soon...)

**** I have been waiting for Mayweather to get KTFO aswell... lol
But with all this extra "Outside" bull**** happening, It might be time to pick dude up?
Berto tomorrow night, Possible prospect to my stable.

Floyd Mayweather. I was a Floyd-hater at first. Ever since the Gatti fight, I always wanted to see Floyd lose. I would even bet against him in every fight, but after I seeing how much heart and skill he showed against Hatton, I have been a firm believer ever since.

    In my case it's Froch.
Gets a lot of **** for his very controversial win against Dirrel (like he's responsible for silly judges) and for his trash talking in general (publicity, nothing else. Every boxing is aware of that) but when I noticed that there is hardly ever a positive thread about him I began to feel sorry for him.
I'm surprised the bookies have him as an underdog vs. Abraham considering he dealt significantly better with Dirrel than Abraham did (yeah triangle theories are **** but the odds must come from somewhere).
His resume is quite good, too. He does not deserve as much hate as he gets.

Despite being German und watching the fight in Berlin I'll be cheering for Froch tomorrow.

JMM, after I seen the heart and skill he displayed in almost beating Pacman and his bravery against Floyd along with his recent victory's I said this is warrior with good skills.

Larry Merchant was the only one to give me a high five walking back to the dressing room after the Sergio-Pavlik fight... So yeah Larry, keep up the good work. I am definitely an unexpected fan.

  11. Rafael Marquez! He's a little warrior beast with some damn skills.. can't get enough of his fights.

Carl Froch for me. I use to dislike everything about him, his arrogance, calling out Joe C Wales when wasn't even fit to carry his jockstraps and never cared for his style. But he's grown on me. I really like his personality now and appreciate what he does in the ring. I think he's slightly underrated because he's what i like to call "a deceptive fighter" meaning he's better and harder to beat then he looks. He has that special quality of imposing himself on a fight with his personality and mental strength.

I've never seen someone who relied and got by on his swagger as much as Carl Froch. I realise now that his "arrogance" is just the type that fighters need, it's just his assurance and confidence in himself coming through. He truly believes everything he says. I feel sorry for him, because he kind of missed the boat...he would've been a big star in the early 90's and when boxing was a big TV sport. His charisma would've translated, big time!

Another fighter who is starting to win me over is Tavoris Cloud. He just needs to be more active.

Manny Pac, I've always been a hater of the one-dimensional, one handed slugger that he is, always been a fan of slick sweet science practitioners especially african americans. but ever since floyd demanded nonsense stipulations to an otherwise regular bout, i knew pac is the nightmare for all these slick boxers

The guy in my avatar. I disliked the way he was being hyped up, and made out to be the most feared fighter in boxing. That annoyed me. Then after the Quintana loss, I actually disliked him for all the hype he was getting, only to fall short to an average opponent. Now, it wasn't his performance in the rematch that won me over, it was his attitude after the fight. He didn't make excuses. All I have hear from Paul about that fight, has been how the better fighter on the night won. He didn't moan, or complain, he just accepted his loss, and got straight back in the ring, avenging it. Ever since, i've been a fan. Even after war with Martinez, he's still raring to go and chasing big fights. He'll go toe to toe with anyone, despite having the height advantages neccesary to avoid this sort of conflict. Maybe he knows no other way to fight, but what we do know is it gives us some damn good fights!

And now, after a devastating KO loss to Sergio Martinez, Williams still accepts his loss and accepts Sergio was the better man. He makes no excuses. To quote him; "It's just the way the cookie crumble's. Nahmsayin?" I hope Paul makes a healthy recovery, and is back in the ring as soon as possible!

    Some others:

    Froch in the Pascal fight
    Maidana in the Ortiz fight
    Bradley in the Holt fight.

All showed great heart and determination. Thus earning my respect.
