He and Bute will be a ****in sell out in Montreal. Its not a matter of if the fight will happen just a matter of when.
I think he loses to Hopkins, and Bute has his sights on 168. But this would sell out in Canada, no doubt.
I'm not going to make any predictions, everyone's talking how Hopkins is too old. Age doesn't really factor in when you back away, clinch, throw single shots and buy time with fake low blows. Although I favour Pascal to win, I wouldn't be suprised by a Hopkins UD.
I think Pascal can use his athleticism and movement to land shots on hops. Hops surely can't have the legs now if Pascal can set a serious pace. Of course Hops will be looking to get in, tie Pascal up, win ugly, just don't give him the chance to do that. But man Hopkins is wiley and cunning as a fox, so who the hell knows??? But one thing for sure, Hopkins does not do a Pavlik on Pascal.
a good way to drain the bank account is to bet against the old fox. if hopkins isnt completely spent and father time hasnt finally found wherever the **** he hides in between fights... i will never bet against bernard "the executioner" hopkins. don't write him off. ever.
With fighters like Hopkins, age does catch up with them but they're too crafty for us to really see it. I am a fan of both but am a bigger fan of Hopkins so you know who I would prefer to win if I had to pick. Hopkins hasn't dealt with the speed & athleticism of someone like Pascal in AWHILE so a one-sided victory in favor of Hopkins would surprise me. Pascal is pretty strong too so I can't see Hopkins bullying him either. His best bet is to use his experience because like he said about Pascal, guys he fought such as Froch and Dawson are young like he is and there's nothing like facing a legend.
