i really dont want to see this fight, if marquez is going to move up he should fight one of the champs at 140. the only fights i would like manny to fight next are mayweather or martinez. maybe williams but as he is coming of a loss it doesn't have the appeal it did before hand

At 140 Marquez gets starched too. But I doubt team Pac will bend further than 142.

I'm not saying it should be 85/15, i'm saying look at Marquez when he headlines a PPV, what did it do? Like 150,000?

Pac did 1 million more than that when he's at the helm.

ESB won't agree w/ Marquez to fight Pac 147.
Marquez does not know anything about boxing, they say.

Let him fight winner of Maidana vs Khan, Bradley, etc. first before fighting Pac at welterweight or jr welter.

The rubber match should of happened at 130lbs yrs ago. Of course, this would of benefited JMM, he did get robbed as close as they were, but now there is no point. I hope JMM has 2 more fights and ends his career on a high note. What he is doing at his age already is extraordinary. At his age, at this weight especially, and fighting a world class fighter like Katsidis is pretty damn good. I say he beats Katsidis, takes on Bradley-Alexander winner, and destroys Soto. Khan I think is a bad match up for him. A rematch vs. John wouldn't be bad either and he can avenge that loss that should of been a victory for JMM.

thank you for clearing this one. you seemed to suggest in your earlier post that pac would outweigh jmm sizewise when we all know that pac is still fighting almost in the same weight range during fight night as he was fighting when he was at jr. lightweight.

its funny how pac can drain the F out of people, but when it is supposedly possible for him to make 135, he won't even fight at 140

it is better than actually fooling someone that it was for a catchweight fight and then just ignoring the weight and just pay-off your opponent.

Marquez is no position to make demands. He was happy to give up four lbs to Mayweather and is now claiming Floyd is the P4P best because he beat him, ignoring the weight issue.

A fight at 144-145, which is Pac's best weight, he will have to take. We'll see who he thinks is the P4P best after Manny knocks him the **** out at his best weight.

the ******* defense....when caught, deflect to floyd

fwiw, the jmm-floyd fight was meaningless....it was a tune-up, and floyd missing weight makes it even more meaningless

which furthers the point, that pac-jmm at 147 would also be totally meaningless

    thanks for reinforcing this idea
