What is the reason for not fighting JMM at 140 and declaring it must be at 147? 140 is not a catch weight.

--Was Campbell signed to fight Guzman BEFORE Pacquiao chose Diaz?

--In hindsight...Roach was cherry picking ODLH, who he KNEW could not pull the trigger any longer.

--Hatton won the fight against Lascano. But, he was almost stopped in the process. Malignaggi cannot punch. He had nothing to make Hatton respect him.

--Cotto eeked out a close and controversial decision.

--Judah breaks down mentally in fights. We KNOW this. Corrales? Stop. Cotto? Clottey looked pretty good in this fight....just not good enough to WIN. He gassed down the stretch too.

--Pacquiao does not want to take a test. So, I question how much he really wants this fight.

--Yeah. He knows that NOW. Not right after SSM KO'd Margarito though.

I didn't say I AGREED with Roach. I don't believe it to be true, at this point. If the fight happens in 2012...I might feel that way, though.

LOL...Feel you on that, bruh. Glad you aren't sweating these clowns. Keep doing your thing. :good

Yeah...West is a sharp guy. I've always been a fan. Michael Eric Dyson is another one, whose ideas I respect. I saw him speak at a book signing in Oakland. Sharp cat...and very down to earth.

Fair enough. But, if ALL fighters cherry pick, why is Floyd, by far, the fighter with that stigma? Yet, when Pac is CLEARLY doing it, he's considered to be taking on 'tough' opposition...or fighting guys Floyd, supposedly, ducked.

There is a CLEAR double standard here.

Roach also said that Hatton was never that good.

THese young pacfag chumps getting their feelings hurt, when it's the guy closest to emmanuel admitting things to cheapen emmanuel's recent career.

No doubt. He's given enough soundbites and quotes, over the years, to tell me everything I need to know. Some of the things he's said were before they were even seeking to fight some of these guys.

The difference between them is that after JMM, Pac fought fighters who are bigger and initially presumed to be stronger than him. Floyd on the other hand has *lately* been trying to gain all the advantages he can get. This is very evident against JMM when he not only dragged JMM a couple of weight classes above, he also came weighing 2 pounds more than their agreed catchweight.

If you also compare the resume of the two, Pac's has a lot of names that should have not been there. Alas Floyd's resume stands out more for the names that aren't there than the ones that are there.

That's part of the deception, IMO. Manny is fighting guys who are "initially presumed to be bigger and stronger", NOW. But, Floyd fought a number of fighters that outweighed him significantly, in past bouts. He's only fought two fighters who moved up to fight him. No. the weight issue with the JMM bout does not help his case. But, had that not occurred and he won in the same fashion, he would not get any credit for that win, anyway.

Also, post ODLH, Floyd has chosen fighters who are viewed FAVORABLY, while Manny is fighting these guys when they are NOT viewed favorably.

As I said...the double standard is quite clear, in my view.

The guy wants the best fight for big money for Pac. Especially now that Pac is about to retire. Pac's legacy is already assured. It's the least of his worries now.

    Floyd's last 5 fights:
Mosley - top welter at the time, coming off a great upset win
    JMM - P4P #2 at the time
Hatton - undefeated at the time
Oscar - just had an impressive KO victory over Mayorga
Baldomir - just had the best win of his career beating Judah

    emmanuel's last 5 fights:
marg - AZZ beating from Mosley and didn't look good in tuneup
Clottey - doesn't know how to win
Cotto - struggled against Clottey, Clottey the guy known for losing
    Hatton -no longer undefeated
Oscar - didn't look good against Forbes
