Spoilers....... Zambo beat Nash Petro beat Kraus Drago beat Khamal Sato beat Glogo Petro beat Zambo Sato beat Drago Petro beat Sato I watch the TBS broadcast so didnt see everything, Petro/Zambo seemed to be the made talking point with Mike landing a big shot in the second as Petro was going for a kick and it was(correctly IMHO) called a slip.
2010 K-1 MAX Final 8 (Videos) http://steverattlesnake.cliquezone.com/2010/11/2010-k-1-max-final-8-videos
zambo gave him the toughest fight but I still believe he won that one clearly. I am looking forward to seeing petrosyan in action again.
I'm always in awe when I watch Petrosyan fight. He just does everything so perfectly and gracefully. The guys reflexes are unmatched as far as I'm concerned.
Here are rematches I'd love to see in 2011: Zambidis-Drago (Zambo won by extra round back in 2007) Chahid-Drago (their pair in 2008 ended in draw and decision win for Chahid) Zambidis-Chahid (obviously) Petrosyan-Buakaw Petrosyan-Zambidis Petrosyan-Sato Sato-Drago Two kickboxers that don't ever need to meet again are Petrosyan and Kraus. Giorgio just has Albert's number, and Albert has had ample opportunity without being able to adjust. Amazingly, by the time of next year's 1st K1 event (assuming the company still exists) the Doctor with his busy schedule may have run his win streak up as high as the 30's! :scaredas:
buakaw vs petrosyan II Masato vs petrosyan (I know it wont happen but I would like to see it anyway, perhaps masato comes out of retierment) kyshenko vs petrosyan (I still want to see this fight) Zambidis vs Chahid II Yodsanklai fight in k-1
I wouldnt say so, he's not the most active or powerful puncher in the sport but his hands are fast and accurate plus of course his head movement is some of the best in the sport.
ohh no, thats not what I meant. I didnt explain myself, I meant that his hands get injured often when he fights. I think his hands are among the best in k-1, then combined with this head movement and footspeed, he is deadly. you know that left hand is a killer he lands it cleanly after turning his opponent by stepping to his left and letting it go usually after throwing a few shots straight down the pike. he has fantastic defense too. His face can survive three opponents in one night but his hands cannot.
Luckly from what I'v heard he didnt break his hand again in the GP. Petro/Buakaw 2 certainly seems the match to make early next year although I wouldnt be shocked is FEG tried to setup Petro/Masato for NYE given the problems there having.
It was booked as Masato's farewell match last NYE wasnt it until the hand injury forced Petro out. It is starting to look like FEG are in desperate need of something big to sell the NYE show with Aoki/Melendez possibly off(and even that wouldnt I'd guess have pulled massive numbers) and that would seem to fit the bill. Saku is I'd guess pretty much a spent force at this stage, Kid's popularity has declined and most of the K1 HW's are fighting a few weeks before. Ishii vs Hari?
