There is hardly any coverage over here or buildup even though Froch has a resume as impressive as Haye's! Even more so IMO!

In Europe this is a superfight in every definition and I haven't heard any Joe public even knowing about this.

    I think it's a poor hype job!

resume? are you not english? its called a CV

but yeah your right, not one ****er i know, knows its on, the only advert ive seen for it is on the ESB banner! What makes it worse is that all the 'one-fight-a-year fans' were packing the pubs two weeks ago for that piece of **** fight....they could all be watching this tonight and actually converting some casuals.

If Sky Sports don't have it then don't expect anyone to know about it, if it aint on Sky the fickle British Public won't know it exists.

The other week, even though Sky were showing Pacquiao v Margarito on one of their subscription channels at no extra cost, you would have been forgiven for not knowing the fight was taking place ...

Why ? ........ because of the Haye V Harrison PPV Box Office event ...

Every advertisement and sports news clips focussed on Haye v Harrison's fight in order to maximise the PPV numbers ........... I never saw nothing about Pacquiao V Margarito on Sky until the day before the fight ..... yet had been fed Haye v Harrison nonsense for weeks on end.

Boy do I sorely miss Bunce's Boxing Hour and Setanta Sports' Boxing coverage

Partly due to his promotion,Hennesey for one reason or another has never been able to land coverage on the main channels, got itv for the pascal fight and everyone was buzzing about that fight after, but since hasnt got anything and is now fighting on a ppv channel that i cant seem to find on my tele,he would be as big as Haye with the right promotion.

Most of the people I know would say...

    "Who's Froch?"

Actually, ALL of the people I know wouldn say that. Even the one's who claim to watch the sport.

why are all u guys surprised at the affect of marketing!!!! the make money from PPV and they know if they hype it up and expose it enough then people will watch it, thats why people watched the haye/harrison fight. its the same as a built up movie, like horror films are always **** but because they look good in the previews, they always do, thats the same anywhere in the world, so **** your anti-british rants you racist idiots.

froch lacks personality aswell, haye has a lot and could sell a bag of **** if he wanted

i swear im fed up with this forum, i'll probably leave so u can all lick each others asses

A lot of people in the UK know Hatton and Khan. Calzaghe is less known, but still a recognisable name here and there. Froch, on the other hand, is a nobody over here.

    f*ck the idiot joe public.

aslong as the fans know who he is,and even ide be more happy if other countries were more aware of him where boxing is bigger there than here.
