PACFANS..What do you guys think of freddie roach

Roach and Pacs team sound pathetic with all these special clauses and demands to take fighters out of their comfort zone.

 

Roach is the best trainer in the world hands down. He just speaks his mind too much. What everyone thinks and does but doesn't admit, Roach just blurts it out.

You see Williams asking for a catchweight against Martinez but still getting KTFO. Williams is lucky his trainer doesn't talk like Roach cause Roach would've been saying how Martinez is getting old and will be drained and that they are making him train to lose weight instead of winning the fight... and then BAM Williams gets KTFO

imagine if Allan Green's trainer talked like Roach... Johnson is gonna be drained and he can't pull the trigger and he hasn't made 168 in 10 years and he's an arm puncher and .... BAM Green gets KTFO

 

Imagine for one second if Freddie Roach was Marquez' trainer all the **** he would say about Katsidis and why they didn't want to fight Amir Khan.

Everyone would be calling MArquez a *****.

Beristain keeps his mouth shut but the thinking process is the same.

 

Maybe Roach just gets excited when he's got a mic in his face, and others...not so much.

 

I met Michael Eric Dyson at the N.A.B.B.J. (National Association of Black Broadcasters & Journalist) Annual Convention about 5 years ago...He'a was Awesome. Also...Tavis Smiley is a pretty smart dude. In fact, there were several people that I met that I have since developed a ton of respect and appreciation for. Remember these names:

Marc Lamont Hill
Melissa Harris Lacewell (although her name is changed...Just got married)

I don't have a problem with catchweights. They ensure fighters aren't overmatched and a more even fight. Both of Pac's catchweights were justified at their respective points in time.

Funny how the same people criticising Pac for his catchweights fights are now saying the only way they want to see him fight Marquez is at 140 or at a catchweight. And Pac's not even a big welter and doesn't rehydrate too much past what he did at superfeather.

But agree, Pac is a welter now, and won't fight at jr middle. 147 is his weight class.

 

Roach is perhaps the best trainer in boxing today. He learned form Eddie Futch! Only a roach will survive a nuclear war!

 

he's 6/10 ******* in my eyes as manager. as trainer i think he's solid. somebody in pacs camp should teach him how to shut his mouth.

In a way i agree with the holes youve pointed out on pacs last 5 fights. How about you try to do the same with floyds? Im pretty sure youll find it just as surprisingly easy.

I personally don't think he's that great of a trainer.

 

You give validity to Floyd's win over JMM, but you think it's BS that Pac is calling him to come to 147. Care to explain why?
