It's Official, John VS Gamboa !!!

If a fully fit and conditioned Chris John fights the Gamboa that turned up against Salido its competetive for 3 rounds until Chris John begins the desimation :deal

But i dont expect either of them to turn up like that , John is coming off a long long lay off , never good , and i expect a fit focused Gamboa in the ring dialled in on the hardest and most important fight of his career ..........

I swing back and forth on this fight all the time , and currently im thinking Chris John will outwork Gamboa to a UD by 3 or 4 rounds with some scary moments along the way , i think John may be hurt early and i think if John can turn on the heat late on he has a good chance of stopping Gamboa !!!

 

I dont think so. Rocky Juarez gave John all he could handle in some parts of the fight. I think John is good, but not as good as his record suggest. Dont get me wrong, mad respect for Juarez, i like him as a fighter, but has nothing that stands out, speed, power etc etc

 

Judging by John's last performance (against Juarez last year?) I can see Gamboa stopping him late.

 

Ill go for Gamboa but i think Johns experience will give him some real problems at some stage in the fight. I reckon UD or late stoppage

 

Dont worry every talented fighter gets doubt on their way up. Some make it some dont. Even if Gamboa fails to be as great as i think he is, i know for damn sure that he is better than Rocky Juarez and Rocky gave that man all he could handle. Gamboa wins this fight.

 

Chris John is no amateur. This dude has some big wins, including Marquez(who is better than Gamboa).

 

Interesting choice of words when pitting a seasoned world champion against a guy who's struggled at times badly against much lesser calibre of figher

 

If you think John wins, that is ok, that is your opinion. But I think Gamboa its at his prime right now. I don't expect him to get any better than he is at this time. He might not have a long Pro resume, but he has a lot of ring mileage

 

I heard the Marquez fight was a robbery and that was some time ago man

I pick Gamboa, But don't get it twisted... John has a chance to win this fight.

I think Gamboa has a bright future, and he is a great boxer, but I don't think he's ready for a Chris John quite yet.

Then again John could not show up at his best and get taken to task by a young hungry fighter. I'm just trying to make a decision based on my head.
