HBO tripleheader: Marquez vs. Katsidis, Berto vs. Hernandez, Cabellero vs. Litzau RBR

Marquez not looking old he is still Quick.

 

Great 1st round. Both are here to fight.

 

ROUND 1

Marquez has some jabs bounce off MK's forearms. Marquez starts lowering his jab a bit to squeeze through the wrists of Katsidis (a wider opening than between the fatness of the gloves). They exchange rapid fire on the inside with no clinches. Katsidis lands a lead right hand and begins to bob in place in front of Marquez. A big combo lands for Marquez. Katsidis keeps trying to land a lead hook and just grazing Marquez's head. Marquez lands a hook a bit low and Bayless asks him to get it up. Marquez lands a couple of jabs and takes another glancing hook to the forehead. Katsidis is holding a tight guard and moving wel, circling at mid-range and taking turns throwing combos with Marquez. Katsidis sticks his left elbow and forearm out trying to muscle his way inside and get space to land a big right hand. Marquez is the one who lands his right cross at the bell.

Beautyful cominations! I am sorry, but Marquez boxing is just textbook perfect!

 

Now this is action. First round to Marquez for me, Katsidis is there though and is fighting back, this will be an explosion if no one gets KO'd.

 

Kats needs to quit trying to box with JMM.

 

Marquez great combinations. Kastadis has tighter defense than normal luckily.

Great round! Marquez is blistering Katsidis.

 

Round 2

The round begins much like the last, with circling and stiff jabbing by both. Katsidis then begins to rush Marquez and push into him with his forearms, trying to rake him to the ropes. They stand head to head and slug, with Marquez naturally landed first and last, and with sharper stuff. Katsidis is right in there, however. This is exactly what it was expected to be. Marquez lands a hook to the jaw and then drops one to the body. Katsidis comes forward with jabs, hooks and uppercuts with his head bowed towrad Marquez. They fire away at close range and it's amazing.
