Plus he asked Maquez 4 questions about the knockdown and nothing about his brilliant performance. Nothing. He needs to go at this point.

 

He is referring to bringing up his brothers death there in a pretty difficult situation for Katsidis. I don't think Merchant had anything other than good intentions though, he was trying not to cry, just a bit insensitive.

 

He was more smug than usual; a real ******* tonight. I personally can't wait till they get rid of the guy. He's beyond senile and takes centuries to let out one sentence.

 

The ONLY reason Merchant was talking to Katsidis was to bring up the dead brother. Sad, but true. And I'm sure that's what his producers wanted him to do.

Yep, that's exactly right. So damn sad to see that. Well, at least Michael got to say goodbye to Stathi in front of the world, but that was some cheap-ass sh*t Larry and HBO did there, in my opinion.

 

Also when litzau was happy about his win and went to their table, Larry Merchant gave him two thumbs down. Wow the man is an underdog by like 13 to 1 and is happy, dont give the man two thumbs down. ****in *******
