Should be proud of himself, showed a ton of guts and gave Marquez hell at times. JMM too good though, too sharp a counter puncher, puts his combinations together better than anyone.
Great fight. I thought he was starting to tire Marquez, as Kat was dictating the way the fight was fought, but Marquez just exploded on him in the end, and it was a good stoppage.
Katsidis is a true ****ing champion that unfortunately came up short in one of the best battles ive seen for years. Katsidis performance makes me proud to be Aussie well done mate!
He did us real proud ... I thought he was losing the fight but against Marquez it's nothing to be ashamed of. That said, he was only just losing it after probably picking up a 10-8 round in the third. I do question the stoppage. I think i would have waited another 10-15 secs as he was just starting to fight back and there was only another 40 secs to go. That said, its better than seeing him get hurt. I hope he picks up a couple more big fights from this. :happy
What a honorable performance, he took some huge shots, but you could see he would not quit, im glad he finished on his feet. nothing to be ashamed of, He put on a good fight, you guys have any idea who could be on the horizon for Michael?
He was calling out Pac pre fight, but no matter what the result was of todays fight, that one was always gunna be a bit out of reach for him.

Marquez further confirms his legendary status. Brave performance by Mick, but JMM was a class above, even at this late stage of his career.
Fair stoppage, Marquez would have just stepped it up further, he's just too accurate. The pub went beserk when the knockdown happened, I thought Kats should have capitalised more once that happened, but great effort anyway.
