OK... so whose going to be the first jackweed to say it was a bad stoppage?

    Shouldn't take long. :verysad

That wasn't a good stoppage... it was a GREAT stoppage. Kastidas was badly hurt and was about to be in a dangerous spot. Bayless is an excellent referee and knew exactly waht he was seeing.

Kudos to both men for a war and to marquez, once again, for showing he is still one of the all time greats. :good

I've seen much worse, but I still thought it was mildly premature. Not enough to get too riled up about, though.

I wasn't upset with the stoppage, but I also wouldn't have been upset to see go longer.

Honestly, I thought it was too early at first. In retrospect, a KO was inevitable and things were getting ugly. Good stoppage.

KaT was losing the last three rounds and was being punished every step of the way . No need for brain damage.

I guess Top Prank will take Juan off the list and say if you weigh in under 142 fight day ....No fight.....He will beat Pac again with his style ...and yeah Pac may drop him but this is a Mexican that gets the fawk Up !!!! True HOF and another FOY !!!! by Juan

Not here, Katsidis wasn't throwing **** for a minute and half and his hands were down. The ref had no choice but to stop it.

Modern boxing fans are unbelievable. This stoppage wasn't just bad, it was ridiculously bad. Fights should go to their NATURAL conclusion.

little early, did stop him getting knockout though for sure, saved him from himself so he can come back and be a warrior again and finally beat someone for the world title/s.

My immediate reaction was "Dude, why are you stopping it??!!". But after my thrill began to settle and I viewed the replays, I realised what a good call it was. Great refereeing in my opinion.

Bayless was not consisitent with recent stoppages this year and it being Katsidis who recovers all the time should have been given another 10 secs to see how he recovered. Bad stoppage guy was giving a heck of a performance. You don't stop it on one of the few warriors who has shown he can re gain his legs and turn a fight around.

Katsidis actually lands a left hook, Marquez backs away and Bayless steps in to stop the fight. Katsadis has weathered worse in the Casamayor fight. It wasn't a perfect stoppage but it ultimately changed nothing just saved Katsidis some further punishment.

Unless their jaws are cracked open and their heads bounce off the canvass, you'll never be satisfied.
