that's ****en it...i'm sick and ****en tired of seeing joe cortez reffing fights...he ****en sucks ass now and is total ****en garbage.....there could've been some really good clinch action last night but the idiot kept breaking it up the minute one fighter barely even touched the other...........god i can't stand his stupid ass anymore and he has really ruined some good scraps......
Joke of a ref...consistently bad performances. Referees with ego's are the worst kind...they try to get noticed!
It really goes to show how ****ed pro boxing is. In any other sport, if a ref had ****ed up and incorrectly officiated as many events as Cortez has, he'd wouldn't be reffing pro fights anymore. In boxing though, just because the guy has been around reffing forever, he can **** up as many fights as he wants and continue to get selected to ref more big fights.
I didn't see any of the card last night so just start watching it today. Just finished watching the Caballero fight and thats the first thing I thought of. I've hated him with a passion ever since Hatton v Mayweather. Not that I'm a Hatton fan but he ruined that fight.
I tottally agree been saying ir for years hes a tosser... :goodHe doesnt like fighting in the inside there is a great difference in wrestling and fighting in the inside but he hasnt worked that one out yet..
Haven't liked him for a while now, I think it started around the Mayweather vs Hatton fight, complete bull****. For me, I will take Smoger every time if I could, but if he cant be had, put in someone like Bayless, Bayless is one of the best refs in the buisness, IMO.
The thing is, I cant remember what fight it was, but I think there is a fight where the American fighter is doing some holding, wresting, dirty type infighting and Joe barely says ****.... Hes not even consistent to his own crappy standards. He picks and chooses what fights hes going to ref in certain ways, and thats bs. You should have a set standard and stick to it fight in and fight out. And Joe needs to learn that 'infighting' is part of the sport.
bayless, smoger and the father and son team raul caiz jr and sr are the standouts right now.....joe cortez really needs to stop reffing big fights.....
