I think Manny would beat him, but no way they fight him now, let the excuses begin. Can't wait for Pac vs. JMM at 147 I'm sure it will be great. Credit to Berto, but no way he gets the fight now, would have been much better off had he looked like **** and been hurt and won questionable SD.

Lol, yeah Berto doesn't fit their bill at all. Marquez looked too impressive also, but at 147, it won't be a fight. I'm guessin Mosley though.

i disagree. not fighting mosley after margo made sense: too fast, too powerful, and great chin. berto though is thoroughly flawed and pac would eat him up eventually

Marquez took him out with his performance, he is the bigger name and draw. Ppv numbers will go through the roof if he meets pacquiao in a 3rd encounter.

Dude...don't get me wrong Freddy Hernandez aint ****, that being said, do you think they fight Berto...of course you don't, why won't they..."he's not a big enough name"...really, they didn't seem to be a problem when fighting Clottey. Is he not a Legitiamte Undefeated World Champion in the division Pac fights in currently? He didn't look vulnerable enough for them to jump on him, it's not about the KO scaring anyone, it's that he didn't look vulnerable and no way they take this fight, I hope they do and I've been saying this since the Margo fight ended.

I don't think they would do as many as Margo-Pac did, I don't know who would be interested in this fight, we've seen it twice. Also with Freddie saying no way Pac fights below 147, even less want to see it, PPV's would be OK, but to say JMM did something to make it more appealing to people who know boxing...I disagree. I love JMM but he doesn't have a chance at 147, period.

So what does that have to do with the thread, seriously, why would you have to bring Floyd up? Are you disputing that they don't fight Berto now? I would guess this seals the deal for SSM considering JMM looked good, and Berto sparked dude in 1st round...would you like to wager on the opponent is going to be, since you are so confident that I'm just a "Pathetic *****"?

This is absurd. Berto is about the 4th backup plan to begin with, and knocking out a crappy no-name doesn't change that. Berto has no fan base and only has one good win on his resume.

If you don't even think he has a chance, why would you even care if Pac avoids him??
