Even if he were, how the hell can he be ranked ahead of fighters who are a lot more proven, who are performing at a HIGHER LEVEL?

 

I just don't see where people are getting this from. He's got no power, relies on holding and mauling, and can't force a stoppage on fighters he's dominating. He's the only supposedly elite fighter NOT to stop Miranda, couldn't even TKO Green despite having it is own way the entire fight and Old Man Johnson smashed him. He beat the **** out of Kessler, and even with those massive headbutts, and horrific cuts, couldn't give the ref enough to stop it. I give him credit for beating Kessler so decisively, but its akin to Hatton vs Tsyzu. He won, but got away with hellish fouls in doing so, which sour the win considerably.

+ Ward is 26 and Old Hopkins is 40+, and can get away with is because his tank is short.
