I'm a Pac fan. My first choice is Marquez after seeing his performance with Katsidis. I guess that revelation shits on the thread title doesn't it?

 

pacquiao has nothing to fear about marquez. pac has fought a 153-lber, a 158-lber, a 160-lber and a 165-lber in his last four fights. pac has taken on these much larger and more powerful guys and destroyed/dismantled/dominated them.

now, he's supposed to take on a guy who weighs 145 lbs. and has been KD'd 6 times in his last 8 fights all w/ the very same punch, a left hook which is one of pac's most powerful punches. nothing to fear here.

 

SKILLS is what makes JMM dangerous. Pac has had the advantages of size, youth, speed and power on his side, and he still struggled with JMM...never earning a CLEAR victory over him.

So, if he struggles against "a guy who weighs 145 lbs. and has been KD'd 6 times in his last 8 fights", what do think the fans perception will be of him, being that "pac has taken on these much larger and more powerful guys and dismantled/dominated them"? :think

jmm has skills which he has retained but hasn't improved upon since his second fight w/ pac. he's still basically the same guy, same skillset, same defense/offense, although 2 years older and a few pounds heavier.

on the other hand, we all know and have seen how pac has improved these past 2 years since the 2nd pac-jmm fight. that's why their third meeting won't be a close contest as their two previous fights were.
