Mosley stuggles mightily with jabbers who are unwilling to engage. He tightens up in situations like these. Against Pacman however, Mosley will be able to loosen up and be himself as exchanges will come early and often.

I don't mind the fight, to be honest. I'd prefer he fight Berto and grab that WBC belt though. I'd even more prefer taking the winner of Bradley/Alexander and becoming the man at 140 with those belts.

I'm apparently one of the few who wouldn't write Mosley off in that fight. He'd be the biggest puncher Manny has faced, and he'd have more hand speed than anyone he's faced since in years, arguably. And he's as durable as Margo, if not more, imo.

^ So you admit Shane looked like an old fighter against Floyd?

I think he looked poor against him and I don't know if it was because of Floyd's skill or Mosley's age. Floyd did do a lot to take away his weapons in the fight, but whether he was shot or still good when he fought Floyd, he still got dominated.
Nobody knew Shane was going to show his age against Floyd before the fight and Floyd sure couldn't decline the fight because he thought Shane was done and too old, because he was just coming off a knock out against the best chin in the welter weight division. Now we know how Shane is and if Manny takes the fight then he's a fraud. It would almost be like Manny deciding to fight Marquez right after Floyd beat him and before Marquez beat Diaz again and Katisidis

There really is NO reason for a Pacquiao-Mosley fight. None. It would prove nothing. If Pacquiao is gonna keep fighting, it might as well be for legacy, and Mosley will do nothing to enhance it.

Why not at 147 Mosley is a total different fight... Plus he knows another bad performance could be his last. I'll support it.

That's the refreshing thing, he isn't just fighting for legacy, he's trying to give the fans what they want to see...action. A fight with Mosley will almost certainly be loaded with action and go the distance...best of both worlds.

Just can't get excited about it. I respect Shane, but I see it as an easy fight for Pac at this stage. Berto doesn't deserve the fight and imho would go out easier than SSM, he hasn't proved ****. I want to see Pac in with JMM before Juan gets too old to have a chance at it.
