Other than the Martinez-Williams KO, no.

Could someone explain to me why you would put JMM vs Katsidis as FOTY over Kessler vs Froch?

Kessler vs Froch was a clash of two champion level fighters, and was highly competetive throughout the fight, with both fighting as if it was their last fight in the 12th and final round.

The JMM vs Kat fight was a nice display of boxing from JMM, and showed a lot of resolve and mastery to get up from that knockdown and get back to doing what he does so quickly, but really.... I dont even have it for a second or third choice for FOTY. Not sure why its being rated so highly.

    Mares-Darchinyan is coming up.

Also Mares-Perez was one hell of a fight.

I dont think the JMM fight was so competitve as some people make it out to be. Even the round he got dropped he came back and took control of it. I saw JMM landing the better punches a minute after getting dropped.

I told my gf who was worried dont worry he just got mad.

I agree with everything except that kessler-froch was fight of the year. it was an all out war and the last two rounds looked like a bar room brawl between two guys that absolutely deplored each other.

Damn I forgot Mares-Perez was this year, that would be a worthy FOTY too if Kessler/Froch isnt.

Really, JMM/Kat shouldnt even be in the top 3 discussion for FOTY.

    IMO

If KO-ing Williams the way Martinez did isn't KO of the Year - then I really don't know what is. One punch KO of the guy whom was supposed to be the Most Feared Man around - yeah this was it. Not a TKO - but a pure damn KO - Lights Out - Put him to sleep.
