    Ward is an outstanding fighter, potentially very special. He knows a lot of tricks for such a young man, he's what I'd call a chameleon in there he can do whatever it takes.

    He isn't taking punches, he's dominating, he's showing versatility, the guy hasn't lost for an amazing length of time. He looks like he could be special, the extent of the way he's dominating and doing it without taking punishment is what marks him out as potentially special.

    That said Kessler is the only top notch opponent on his ledger so he's got some way to go.

    No one looks good against Bika, Ward did what he had to do to win

    i call it the mayweather effect ,in terms of covering and defending with elbows in your opponents face.There were a fair share of tim Bradley style headbutts in there aswell.
    all in all ,utterly frustrating to fight against -but pretty savvy though.
    some of the best sports people have this anything to win makeup;
    and although not always attractive to everyone,and can be very effective.
    I am hoping that when froch gets past johnson that he can deal with it,he may chose to go to war with him which will be intriguing.

    Don't look past Johnson, I'm expecting Froch to beat him convincingly but a fighter like Glen shouldn't be taken lightly.

    i have enough respect for glen,he is a proud man and a good fighter,i'm just thinking that if clinton woods beat him in their 3rd fight over four years ago then surely froch will have too much for him now?

    Yep, especially at 168. People shouldn't be fooled by that Green win...Glen will put up a good effort and catch Froch a lot more times then Abraham did and be more effective on the inside, particularly with the overhand right. Mainly because Carl will not be as disciplined and take a more gunslinging approach IMO. But he should have to much for Glen at this point.

    I wonna point something out. Andre Ward has a really bad knee problem (don't know whether it's cronic) which might explain why he's been so eager to get on the inside so much in his last few fights. I think he has to preserve his legs. It's something to look out for in the future. Lets hope it doesn't hinder his career.

    It's funny how those applauding Ward now for his underhand tactics, spent years ridiculing the likes of Hatton for underhand tactics: you can't have it both ways.

    Add to that Froch, tagged with being dirty, but who now appears to be boxing very clean.

    Andre Ward still has his 0....You can say what you want, but he has this thing.

    I never really saw anything special in Andre Ward, I liked Dirrell much Better. I have always been partial to Boxers. And IMO Opinion Dirrell is a much better Boxer. As far as Ward's style...Emmanuel Steward said is best when describing Shane Mosley. He said: "Mosley is not really Boxer or a Counterpuncher, not really a technician nor a defensive wizard....Shane Mosley is just a FEARLESS FIGHTER!!!" Same can be said about Ward. However, he has the tools to be a Boxer, if he ever gets the right Trainer.

    Froch would lose that fight in his own kitchen anyway imo.

    Virgil Hunter claims it's 100% as of the Bika fight, hopefully he's right as it would be a real shame to see him hindered by something like that
