PAC is an ATG because he's just a great fighter. I still can't believed that he pretty much took on Barerra, Marquez, and Morales back to back. He than made another run like that when he fought Dela Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto. I pretty much gave him no chance against Dela Hoya, Cotto, and Margarito and he just man handled them. What make a fighter great is being in fights where you know they have a slim chance but they always come on top.

If you call Pacquiao an All Time Great then....

Floyd should be the Greatest Boxer of All Time

No such thing as the GOAT. There is another ATG with a style to beat any ATG. Basically if you put every ATG in matches together prime, No ATG would come out with no losses in any weightclass.

ATG is the highest level and nobody resides above that.

Good post OP, even the last line I would say holds some truth, sadly some of the leading figures of the Sport in the USA like Floyd Mayweather Jr and Bernard Hopkins have stepped over the line recently when instead they should be setting an example to future generations who look up to them as heroes. Floyd's inflammatory tirade recently was a disgrace as was Hopkins's comments pre-Calzaghe and instead of taking a step back from racial comments Bernard throws in the "Pacquiao avoids slick African American fighters" slant.

Pacquiao is a great fighter and entertainer but the accusations and taunts coming from the US heirarchy in Boxing and the inevitable percentage of the media and public who jump on these band-wagons aimed at undermining his achievements leave a bad taste in the mouth and do the sport no favours.

Let's just enjoy Manny Pacquiao while he is still active and punching above his weight.
