    wow more people picking lewis.
lewis could never survive rope-a-dope against foreman.
foreman ko lewis, can't see any other outcome

Foreman VS Lyle style SLUGFEST IMO.

Foreman And Lenny would trade there Best HAYMAKERS off eachovers cheens And Lennox get Dropped 1st. Lenny gets back-up - BUT Foreman is a World-Class ATG Finisher And TKOs Lewis on teh ropes with a DEVESTATING amount of Haymakers,, like when Lenny DESTROYED Bruno on the ropes.

Big G Foreman TKO 6 Lenny Lewis
    [[Lewis Down in Round 6.]]

    Foreman Hooooooooooook!:hat:hat

Lennox was technically better than George. Nonetheless,I can see Foreman knocking Lennox out within six rounds.

Lewis by mid round TKO. Big george didn't have a defence and would keep walking into straight punches while LL fights off the back foot. Lennox's power and reach coupled with Georges none existent defence leads to George getting beat up and frustrated and the ref stops it mid rounds.
    2 of my favourite HW's

Lewis within 5, too fast, too skilled, too powerful for Big George

Power is only good if you can land it. The only way you can land on Lewis is if you can get past his jab and have a tight defence. Big George as much as i rate him had a terrible defence, slow as hell footwork and no upper body movement. Lewis was better skilled, longer reach and had faster feet and hands and not to mention he had very decent power of his own....
McCall stopped a very green version of Lewis and Lewis beat the count so it can be argued it was stopped prematurely. Against Rahman he was at a career highest weight and fighting 5000 feet above sea level and only arrived to acclimatise to the altitude 6 days before the fight which is impossible. Lewis spent too much time filming oceans 11 didn't train properly, was clearly blowing out of his arse through exhaustion in the 3rd and got caught on the chin with his mouth open... what happened in the rematch when Lewis trained properly?

Lewis, if he boxed 6TKO Foreman had trouble with tall, upright fighters (Ali, Ellis) who used thier superior Techniques. If both came out to fight I can see a Lewis v Grant scenario, Foreman throwing wild hooks and not hitting much and Lewis moving in with uppercuts and straight. I would give an old Foreman more of a chance as he seemed to be more conservative with his energy and picked his shots better.

i am not saying he had a shaky chin. i said he hadn't one of the best chins in history (wich is true) and i believe that the foreman who beat frazier or fought ali in zaire would destroy lewis.. after the ali fight george changed his style and not in a goodway (for him). but the prime foreman was a demolition force just a few boxers could have beaten and one of the things it requires is a rock solid chin (like ali or in a lesser way holmes) and lewis isn't one of them..

George would try to ambush Lennox in the fist 2 rounds but a motivated Lennox can't be bullied like that. You have to outbox and outwork and outpunch him.

Foreman was a great boxer with tons of heart but in essence more of a crude slugger that would never be able to beat prime Lennox to the punch. HIs technical basics were simply not up to par.

Lennox W UD12 or late KO.

There is absolutely no way that Lewis is stopping George. No way. The Foreman that fought Norton k.o.'s Lewis.

Foreman and rather easily/ There is no way foreman does not land big shots on lewis. Lewis isnt ali when it comes to footspeed and there is no way lewis could take the kind of punishment that ali could. No way

I fancy Foreman to get the job done in the first six rounds though, perhaps even in the first three rounds. Imagine Foreman landing cleanly on Lewis' chin... damn it would be like a tree collapsing!
