What does Golden Boy plan to do with Malignaggi?

IYO, What was the TRUE purpose for the signing of Paulie?
My best guess is they are gonna "Gate keep" him @ Welterweight for both Ortiz & possibly Alvarez within the next year or so.

What are your thought's?

 

And maybe they can feed him to Marquez to make him look good at 140 should the Pac fight not come about next to create more pressure for Manny to take the fight.

Won't happen. Marquez could easily lose to Malignaggi.

Malignaggi is all wrong for JMM. JMM looks very good against fighters who come to him. Against a fellow counterpuncher, he does not look so good especially if the other fellow won't initiate the action like Gayweather. This fight would look like Chris John all over again.

 

I heard they were pimping him out at bus stations and truck stops.

 

At least I believe he is fighting on Pascal-Hopkins undercard.

 

GB's looking to make their mark in New York so I would assume they would like to utilize Malignaggi there.

And of course feed him to Alverez at some point.

 

I think Paulie's okay with that.

 

Yeah, I don't think even Paulie believes that GBP is backing him for mounting another run at the elite level.

He's going to be well-paid cannon fodder.
