Ward needs to be on his game against Abraham. A desperate man is a dangerous man.

Right on spot! It's a shame that they kicked out Ottke as analyst in favour of the totally boring Maske.

Let me get this straight, Ottke terribly sucked as analyst but the way spoke and pronounced the words was really funny beyond belief. Maske is simply outright boring.

    Free Sven Ottke!

Well said. Even though AA's comp has improved it seems he has gradually gotten just a little worse. Even against Taylor, no hack himself he at least showed more urgency and output in that fight.

Does not sound like a man too small for SMW.

Exactly. AA has an infuriatingly bad style for a man who has his build and attributes. He could be an absolute tank (Though stamina questions are always unknown) but he chooses to turtle up. It seems his activity has dropped even more in recent fights, and it seems he's lost some urgency. Against Froch he through a decent jab once in awhile and usually when he threw he threw punches from outerspace. His punches are actually getting wider and wider with each fight it seems like. Makes him look even more like a brute caveman. Still, this too small stuff is absolute nonsense. He could get away with it against lesser quality smaller man, but he has the ability to adjust if he has the state of mind to have a bit of an overhaul. For a man to have Tyson as his hero he never moves his head. It's absolutely amazing... I swear I could turn AA into a machine if he got his hunger back. The tweaks/adjustment can be made. This isn't a leopard can't change his spots circumstance because AA has enough tools.

Someone needs to show him tapes of LaMotta, Marciano, and Tyson to show him how a real fighter fights.

Abraham's best win to date was a version of Jermain Taylor who had lost 3 of his previous 4, and been knocked out in two of those losses. What did you really expect Abraham to do at 168? Seriously? Why are so many people so surprised?

It's not like we all had some sort of miraculous epiphany. He was the exact same Arthur Abraham we've watched for years.

I could have told him that he was too small for 168. He should have known that.

Sorry don't buy al the bs that he is too small. Height and reach yes but he weighed heavier than froch on fight night and has evil power. With this combination why is he not making the best of his attributes like other fighters out there. He should be using his strength and taking advantage of his strong legs and low centre of gravity. Froch is all wrong for him when he uses his reach and other attributes to good effect. Instead all we hear is i am too small lol.

He should man up and give it one last go against ward. Ward hasn't been took to the trenches for me and if Arthur can summon up the courage to go to war and really give it to ward then who knows. Ward has the skills but in my mind he hasn't the same tools as froch and will not be so viscously hurtful on the outside. Arthur has the tools to do damage to ward and i think he will find it easier to do so than he did against froch or dirrell. I still see it as a ward win on points but i think he will have to dig a lot deeper than most think.

out of interest how tall is ward? He and arthur look to be about the same size to me?
