I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I think Arum is underestimating the knowledge of the casual fans that make up most of the PPV buying public. It's not a secret anymore that Mosley is shot to ****--1.4 million households were witness to that very fact not long ago, back in May. Presumably, many of those 1.4 million households are the same households Arum is counting on to buy a Pacquiao-Mosley fight. He may be surprised that the casual fan's last lingering image of Mosley is of an old man in way over his head against arguably the most talented fighter in the world. Nobody is salivating at the idea of seeing Mosley, even older now, taking on someone perhaps even more talented than Mayweather, at least offensively speaking.

I'd say Pacquiao-Mosley does around 750,000 to 900,000 buys. Arum has been off all year on his predictions about attendance and size of the PPV audience--for example, the 41,000 at Cowboys Stadium for the Nov. 13 fight fell far short of Arum's talk of 70,000. I think a Pacquiao-Mosley fight would be just another example of Arum not having a pulse on (or not caring about) what people want to see.

Same sentiments as I have. How much would it do? Bigger than his last fight.

Casual American fans will buy this fight, whether you guys from ESB like or not.
Shane is more familiar to them than Clottey, nor even Margarito. I think this will
make more than a 1M. Pacquiao with his entertaining has already established himself as a PPV king in the US after dela Hoya.

Very good idea. Maybe they can get Pavlik, too, if he's doing better then.
