The mab-hamed fight was closer than some make it out to be, official scores

judge: Chuck Giampa 111-116 | judge: Patricia Morse Jarman 112-115 | judge: Duane Ford 112-115

Figure that is 8-4 rounds considering Mab was deducted a point for a foul and one judge with 9-3

The morales fight was 115-113 for all judges, 7-5 with morales basically giving away the 12th on purpose. Thats 8-4 if he didnt show off the last round

jmm has done more than people give him credit he beat juarez more convincing than mab as well as robbie peden who became champ after being took out jmm he lost that belt mab who dec him he beat jaca, kokitgym, medina, agapito sanchez, derrick gainer, victor polo an early on in his carrer altough he never amounted to much beat up jullian wheller who was a top ameature an suposed to be jmm cancelled that his only clear cut loss was to maywether all other loss are debatable an then in the now his wins over katsidis, diaz, casamayor ,berrera he is a first ballot hof definitly in same breath as mab and em an his legacy is growing

all three of them have ducked Humberto Soto.

Pacman has ducked Soto for 4 years, since 2006.

so did Valero, Guerrero, Linares, Rios, Peterson, and so many others ducked Soto.

You're entitled to your opinion, I just found it funny that you were reaching so far as to credit Marquez with easier victories over the likes of Peden and Juarez? ...Really?

"Marquez is greater because despite his lukewarm win column, his inability to avoid punches, and tendency to hit the deck, ...he won more rounds against Juarez and Peden than Barrera did".

    That's a compelling argument. I must say.

i voted for Barrera since he had 2 out of the trilogy and whether it means anything or not, his win over Naz puts him at the top, especially ramming him into the corner....i never get tired of wathing that fight.

The thing the kid has to understand is soto has been fighting dudes that have been KTFO against BUMS. Sure Pac fought the 3 lelgendary amigos those cats are near impossible to take out.Margarito is no joke.Mosley sparked him but that's SUGAR man Mosley the only one to legitimately rock probably the best defensive Boxer to-date in Floy money Mayweather.Cotto is overrated i'd give you that.Hatton too.But Clottey-margarito- back to back, is no joke. What's your boy Soto doin? Straight up fightin killers? back-to-back is you serious? Give him money for hospital bills.

no argument just an assment hey smart guy if he takes way to many punches then why is he still here an toward the top end p4p rankings the reason mab and em are considered shot now is the amount of punishment they took during there illustrious careers while the beauty of marquez is his style ablity to counter with out constant movement to still make entertaing fights yes i am intitled to my opinion but it seem your whole point is to discredit marquez here an on classic but i guess everyone else is wrong but you there all three great period
