Erik Morales vs JMM...What's the "REAL REASON" this fight Never Happened?

Morales was terrified...along with Barrera and any other relevant top Featherweight.

 

*Cuz Morales was bussy fighting trilogies with Barrera and Pac.. last thing on his mind was Marquez.

 

The fight was never made. Simple ain't it?

 

Erik Morales was fighting the best out there. Just because he didn't face some guy who would go onto be the lineal lightweight champion and pound for pound number three means, but at the time was losing to guys like Freddie Norwood, Chris John and Manny Pacquiao doesn't mean Morales or Barrera "ducked him." Morales fought the best, not the guys who couldn't quite make it.

isnt it already a fact that jmm DECLINED a match with Morales earlier in their career?

One of the reasons was when nacho beristain started acting as juan manuel's manager. Team marquez was offered by team morales 1.5 million dollar but nacho wanted more money so the fight didn't happen. Can't post the link of the article cause it's posted in a rival boxing website.

Because it wouldve looked like round 1 of JMM vs Pac for 12 rounds. Nacho knew JMM would hit the floor 36 times and didnt want none of it.

 

Why did the fight not happen? Have no idea, but cmon man, Morales never ducked anyone his whole life, he was a fierce warrior in his heyday, the only blemish I would say was the "no mas" against Pacquaio.

 

if marquez was as big as he was now the fight would have been made, is too late better than never?

 

I wonder if Marquez's horrible management had a part in that. Remember how Marquez turned down $750,000 to have a rematch with Pac right after their first fight only to end up fighting Chris John in Indonesia for something like $35,000?
