MAB has the better wins over prime fighters !

 

Morales has a case...Marquez, of course, has none. Casamayor and Barrera were almost done by the time Marquez got to them. Neither of them would go on to do anything noteworthy.

 

Any reason as a Barrera fan you wanted to put Juarez over Tapia and Ayala? Or for Morales take In-Jin Chi or Hernadez over Junior Jones?

 

MAb edges Morales imo because head to head MAB got the better of him ..Morales ranks right under ..I never considered JMM to even be close to their level ..He just happened to gain success after these 2 started to decline ..More of a default position if you will ..

 

Tapia was old and two weights above his best. A good win, a good performance, but not a great win.

Ayala, like Tapia, was at his best as a Bantamweight, and was post-Morales beat down when Barrera got to him. Decent win, good performance, but not a great win.

Junior Jones was still good, but he was coming off an early knockout loss to Mckinney. He was past his best, whereas In Jin Chi was the best he could have been...and a tougher scalp at that time than Jones, I believe. This one is debatable, but doesn't make much of a difference.

 

Morales

 

Soto tried to fight Pac, Valero, MAB, EM, JMM, and so many others, but they all ducked him.
Its not his fault that they dont step in th ring with him.
He cant make them fight.

 

I actually voted Marquez longetivity and the fact the kid is 37.It's remarkable what he is doing- for a career featherweight to move up and destroy is amazing. I'd give him a chance against Hatton and Cotto, a really good chance.He struggles with Clottey and Margarito. I just can't see Morales and barrera being competitive @ 140-147 and at 3o plus years old certainly not.

 

Soto had been fighting C-level opposition cause the A-level competition has chickened-out.

Mosley was able to beat Margarito, cause Mosley was "juiced-up" with EPO Steroids/Hormones.
Thats why the fight was moved from Vegas to CA, cause Nevada commissioner-Keith Kizer had warned Mosley that he would be tested for EPO Steroids before he fought Margarito. So Mosley had his promoter-Oscar & Shaeffer (GBP), move the fight to CA, because CA does NOT test for EPO.
CA only does simple urine drug tests, which does not detect the newer strains of designer EPO steroids.
EPO can only be caught with blood tests within 44 hrs of use.
So, Mosley "win" was a CHEAT/FAKE "victory".

Soto has been wanting to fight Pac, JMM, MAB, EM for years, but they duck him.

Fighting killers like that back-to-back all the way to welterweight is going to put him in a coma.

marquez won that fight, the cards were a little to wide but it was a pretty clear decision to JMM.
