It's probably the most undeluded thong audley has ever come out with. He gives David respect, admits he hurt him, and while the stoppage wasn't premature in my eyes he admits he could have got ko'd. It seems haye has beat a bit of sense into him. I reckon he should go for the British title and go from there, chisora would beat him but he can take a punch so maybe he'll think twice about fighting scared in future.
This is the thing, for this fight Audley had a fair amount of ironic support. People who thought it'd be funny if he won, people who was fed up of Haye etc. From now on he has NOTHING. No one is going to be interested
Audley should just concentrate on going for the British title and if he gets there try to defend it a few times. Haye can take the same route after his loss to Wlad or Vitali.
the man is a joke. his mouth continoulsy writes cheques that his arse can't cash. why hype a fight on complete bollocks like i'll be in his face for every second, haye can't knock me out etc he did it to steal money from peoples pockets. audley is a joke and so was the fight. the guy didn't come to fight and that makes him a disgrace as it isn't the first time. his style consists of posing for 12 rounds and hoping to land a left hand. he did the same thing in prizefighter and almost lost to poor domestic opposition.
Yep. I mean why even release a statement? like people are waiting with baited breath to know whether he is going to continue or not, he should of just kept his mouth shut, got his head down, scheduled a fight, and got on with it.
