The beauty of downloads and listen-again is that the figures are proof that something does or does not work! These figures are terrific. I'm in Belfast on Friday - Ulster Hall, Frampton, my birthday, Dempsey, the lightweight suit...is there a better way to spend a Friday night! Adios.
Great news, boxers always seem much more up for coming on the shows then you'd imagine other leading sports people - especially football where they're trained into not making any comments without cliches and qualifications.
There is a request in for Hopkins this week. Also, it is the 70th show. There will be more emails read this week - I've got hundreds piled up! Adios.
Congratulations Buncey. Well deserved. Any thoughts on the Froch fight a few days on? Might he be on this weeks show?
Cracking news big man...spread the word at ESPN, I've seen tht show you've got..imagine that with more boxing content..!? It would be a Ratings winner!!!?
Ive heard the woman in charge calls boxing barbaric, and won't screen it, though she can't say it about amateur boxing, as thats gone a complete dont hurt me job altogether, but statistics show that most people dont want brainwashing on how to live there lives, but would like to see some good old fashioned fighting on the bbc, even if it mean't buncys face was more familiar than the weathermans, who cares, its our licence money shes paying her bills with, let her and her tree hugging freinds, turn to another bbc channell if their not happy, as its her duty to make us happy. now tell me she's a man?
I've got a big show planned tonight and I will announce it on another thread soon. I will find out today if I can send the figures to various places - The ESPN show would be sensational with a bit more boxing - I think that could happen, I really do. Adios and thanks again.
