    Bob Fostersn "Smothering" technique of throwing a punch at the same time as his opponents to smother. the ko against mike quarry was a smother punch.

    Left hook of a left jab- Alexis Arguello

    I always appreciated this one as I know how hard it is to get this right. A 1-2 puts your body in the direct line for a left hook if done correctly, its much more different when following a single jab. You need very good footwork to pull this one of in a fight.

    don't disagree BUT wlad's left hook off the jab against mercer was a thing of beauty

    Yeah I also think he set up that triple left hook against the Rain Man (forgot his name annoyingley, the guy fighting Solis) with a jab (mabye I'm wrong but I can't imagine Wlad closing the distance without the jab. But Arguello would be my pick for doing it consistently, as mentioned he used it to effect against Escalero.
