In recent years I have learned that jcvd was much more legit then I once gave him credit for...having said that..his fighting was done in the late 70's 80's...he is a bit past it unless this is a fixed fight.

Anyways Van Damme definitely was a good fighter in his pro fighting days. Made some great movies too. He's 50 years old though, hopefully he doesn't get hurt too bad. Hopefully he wins.

somrak Khamsing is probably my favorite muaythai fighter of all time to watch. he had so much skill and easily outclassed the majority of his opponents. khamsing was a very good boxer - he won gold in the 1996 olympics as a featherweight(mayweather won the bronze that year ). I will be surprised if van damme beats somrak, even more surprised if this fight even happens.
