And after Abraham has lost twice straight off and been completely outclassed both times he's really in no position to demand Ward goes to Germany unless it was already in the original contract that he'd have a semi final fight at home if he got there. It would make things easier if they had both semi's on the same night, one bill at Vegas or MSG

Abraham fight should be in Vegas. Everyone else in the S6 has travelled to fight, the least he can do is set up a fight somewhere else in his own country. If he ends up winning the S6 without leaving his neighbourhood he's just going to fuel the critics

Thats called a hate crime.... Beating people up =/= not liking them

    I am actually a christian.

If i saw some boxer named SoS (son of satan), and he was a practicing satanist.... guess what, i wouldn't like him....

Would I be a discriminant person??

He is full of it. He should have been dq'd against Kessler. Im sure Sauerland will demand he fight in Germany b/c of that fight.

So then the intensity your dislike of Ward is inexplicable. It just comes from the gut, I guess.

Or perhaps its Oakland that you dislike? Did you get in any brawls in Oakland during your stay in America?

"If there’s clear injustice taking place every time I fight at home, if there’s some kind of foul play going on where guys are getting cheated I can understand an uproar, but I think I’ve earned the right to fight at home and I don’t think the judges, or the referees, or anybody else has played a role in my fights in terms of helping me win."

The referees should have warned you at the very least, Andre. The judges made the cards a real joke. They didn't help you win, but they didn't help your reputation either.

"I think that kind of performance is unacceptable"

    Same here.

"It’s not always a good thing to dominate. It’s good to have these kind of fights because it keeps you hungry and it keeps you going back to the drawing board just looking for ways to get better."

Hahahahaha! Right. Ask Froch if he's still hungry... if anything, he's got a bigger heart than you. And he plain dominated AA.

"I mean he’s getting another title shot. That’s the irony of the Super Six."

Nope. The irony of this tournament is that, despite being an actual tournament, no ground rules were set in regards to fight venue/location. Andre, don't you think it's ironic to see Kessler & Froch defend their titles in away fights when you say you've earned the right to stay at home? Outside tournaments, promoters can have at her as far as I'm concerned... money talks. But Showtime dropped the ball on equity/fairness when they forgot to establish at least a tentative home/away schedule for the S6 fighters.

"I think that’s a good kind of pressure to put on yourself because the reality of the situation is you’re not going to have a fight where you dominate hands-down at this level. It’s just not going to happen."

Didn't it happen in Froch-AA?!? Oh right, you haven't watched the fight yet.

Again, was the question "what do you feel earned you the actual right to fight at home?" asked..? Too bad, I'd like to see a cold rationale on that... and an answer from Showtime, considering where Froch & Kessler defended their titles.

Perhaps he's got no dislike for Ward, but think that it is unfair that he has all his fights at home?

Did that notion cross your mind?

he he nah I was only in Oakland for a day, but it did look rough enough to receive a kicking in such a short time

Thats the thing up until this morning I didnt hate Ward , I am a Kessler fan and thought he got a rough deal , but as has been discussed Ward almost certainly had him beat anyway.

It is purely and simply the arrogance of saying I DESERVE to fight at home , on resume Froch is proably no.1 right now ( although I admit Ward is a BAD style for him ) and even he wouldnt try and claim that.

Were it not for that article this monring I 'd have nothing too negative to say about ole Andre !

it did, but if you review some of the Govanmauler's remarks you will see that they are kinda sorta inflammatory. They seem to emanate from something deeper than a sense of fairness being breached. There is an intensity there, don't you see it?

As for me, I'm fond of both Kessler and Froch. I'm less fond of Abraham.

Fair enough! He rubbed you the wrong way with that remark. He should have been more diplomatic.

If you have time, though, compare his interview to Carl Froch's and get back to me with which one you found to be generally more arrogant. (For the record, I find Froch's arrogance kind of funny and slightly charming)
