Reason why I picked Mormeck to.

 

Timur Ibragimov became "Timid" Ibragimov the only time I ever saw him fight when he fought Calvin Brock years ago. I could never get excited about him. That being said, he stands a great chance of stopping Mormeck if he can get him to exchange and drag him past the midrounds where Mormeck typically tires. If they do open scoring, Mormeck just might gain a lead then stall and stay away until the final bell to win on the cards like in his rematch with Bell which started great but ended crappy and anti-climactic.

 

The fight is relatively close but I'd say Mormeck is probably winning as he's landing the more eye-catching shots and this is France.

 

Also where the hell is IB? He always does RbRs.

I just started watching it.

I gave mormeck rd 8 and ibragimov rd 9. Mormeck is throwing less but landing the harder punches. Timur is throwing more but they are light shots. With the way that mormeck usually gasses we'll see what happemns.

 

Point deduction for Ibragimov in the 10th.

 

in rd 10 the ref took a point from timur for holding behind the head. Mormeck tried to capitalize and make it a 10-8 rd. I think this was a fairly strong rd for timur, he landed a lot of short inside hooks. I wouldnt besurprised to see the judges give that a 10-8 tho.

In light of the point id score that rd 10-10

 

rd 11 mormeck looks pretty gassedm he is throwing still but they are short punches on this inside. Mormeck headbutted timur about 4x that rd like a billgoat. Timur was throwing in combination and landing, albeit light shots.

Final round, I'd say Ibragimov needs a KO or at least a strong round. Hard to see Mormeck not getting the win.
