Should Pacquiao fight a ''fresh'' opponent next?

By fresh I mean young, hungry, active, not coming off losses.

Not someone like Mosley. Mosley is finished, old and washed up. A Pacquiao fight is not intresting now IMO.

Im a big fan of Pacquiao but Im tired of seeing these old washed up fighters.

There really isn't any fight out there right now that comes close to Mayweather, so people will be disappointed with any other fight. I would have been excited about this one before Shane's last two fights, but now he looks like ****, so nobody's excited.

I was just talking about this at work. I think Berto would be a great fight. The only problem is from a business point of view I think he makes more money off Mosley ( with less risk) Most people don't know who Berto is. I'm want the Berto fight, but I think we will more than likely see a Mosley fight.

Mosley and JMM are old fighters and both on the decline, Mosley more so. The only problem with any of the young prime fighters is that none of them are really ready for Pacquaio. Guys like Berto, Bradley, Alexander, Alvarez, Khan, etc are all a good win or two away from being considered a serious threat to Pac. After Pac's next fight, if some of these young guys face each other or some other top fighter, than a couple guys will move into position where they are seen as threats to Pac.

On paper maybe (Fresh), But Berto wouldn't be a competitive fight.

Mosley will/would put up a better scrap.

I disagree. I like the Berto/Pacquiao match up. Berto has power, speed and an undefeated record to protect. I want this so much more than Pac/Mosley or Pac/JMM

I have not watched enough of Berto to know how good he is. At the very least he is a champ comming off a win, and also undefeated

Like who... Floyd? He doesn't want to fight.

Pac would kill Berto and probably wouldn't get much credit for it either.

He would do the same to Marquez and haters would just say Marquez was old.

Someone with a chance, I don't care about the "fresh" part. No more Clottey or Rockgloves fights.

I'll not b disappointed if he fights Martinez at 154lbs or Williams, Berto at 147lbs. Or a farewell fight with marquez at 140lbs.

Then you'd be hearing people shout "he's still green! he should fight the elites!" honestly, there's only 1 person who he should be fighting, or he should retire for his own good. Now, till it happens, Pac should take some tune up fights as not to wear himself out until somebody's urge to fight comes back.
