IMO yes. He's been in good fights lately and he thinks he has improved that much.

    In a word - no.

He however poses some interesting stylistic challenges that I'm eager to see how Pac would respond against.

Disagreed. IMOH i think berto has the best chance (aside from floyd) to give us a megafight. Berto is undefeated and has belt. Mosely(too old) Martinez(too big) would not be a fight i would want to watch.

I honestly believe that he will give Pac more problems than the other two options (Mosley and Marquez), but I still expect him to lose (likely by K.O.). I definitely think he could give Pac some problems, especially in the the first half of the fight. Pac has never fought anyone who had speed that was even close to his, much less being on par with his. I think Berto's speed could really frustrate Pac. He definitely wouldn't beat Pac though.

He believes so. I don't know any fights he can take to prepare him for Pac, he's as ready as he'll ever be.

He's not ready yet. He needs more experiences and more elite name under his resume. If he fights Mosley and beat him, then I might consider him worthy to face Pac.

Agreed that Berto has a better chance against Pac than does either JMM or Mosley.

But that doesn't necessarily mean that he is 'ready for Pac.'

His squared stance and willingness to exchange would play right into hands of Pac - (particularly his left fist which would probably turn the lights out on Berto before the fight reached the middle rounds.)

you don't get 27 fights and NOT be ready.

This is Berto's biggest chance at stardom. He NEEDS to be ready.

Berto is ready for the millions he'll earn fighting Pac along with the free trip to the hospital while Pac sings at his post fight concert with his band.

    No
    a. he isn't ready
    b. he will never be ready
    c. he is a guy with fast but low precision punches
    d. weak resume, best wins? Collazo? Quintana? Forbes? Urango? Hernandez?
    e. when was the last time he was the main attraction on a PPV event?

I don't have anything against him just in case.
