I've been lurking around for a while here, but decided to join to participate.

There is an awful lot of flack about the Lewis v Vitali match, by the end of round 6, I personally feel Vitali was out of steam and Vitali would of been KO'd in round 7 or 8.

However the question is, a prime Lewis, would take how many round to TKO Vitali? I was watching two videos the other day, the Vitali fight and the various earlier fights of Lewis in his prime, Lewis was so much smoother and faster and more fluent then he was against Vitali.

Lewis is obviously an ATG, however I dont think he could of beat a prime Foreman or Ali, and if Lewis couldn't of beat them then all the Vitali nut huggers stop believing that he could.

I can't wait to get all the Vitali nuthuggers try and flame me down. To all those with a rationale mindset, how quickly does PRIME Lewis TKO PRIME Vitali? Im thinking round 6 or 7.

Well that's almost what happened when they fought, and Lewis was far from prime, so I'd say it not sure of the round, but I doubt it would go past the 5th.

I'd say a prime Lewis finishes him off in about 4 or 5 rounds.

I say 1 round. Lennox is an ATG who beats every other ATG in 1 round.

In fact Lennox would KO King Kong in 1 round. And Gozilla too.

I'd agree with that, although I think Ali would give him more problems than Foreman. That said, Foreman would be more dangerous of the two in terms of potentially KOing Lewis.

Vitaly without cuts was clearly winning first rounds 2-0
    Vitaly with cuts 2-2

Yeah, sure. :rofl Because Michael Grant & Wladimir Klitschko are roughly equal right? Why didn't you just throw Golota's name in there while you're at it?

Can you possibly even begin to believe the **** you say?

Back to the Classic forum you dumbass, where you and other nostalgic losers can proclaim how mini Marciano would've destroyed Wladimir, Vitali & Lewis...............

I think he'd stop Vitali in 6 rounds again. But the fight would be dead even or Lewis would be ahead. Compared to their actual fight when Vitali was obviously ahead on points.

That's the God's honest truth right there. Prime Lewis would beat George Foreman, either version. In fact he said so too.

A Prime lewis scores a TKO 1st round when Vitali goes to his corner at the end of the round and says his shoulder hurts...... *Cough* quits... No I mean the shoulder hurts.

It could even have gone longer than 6 rounds. The reason I say that is Lewis was pretty desperate and going for broke in their actual fight in '03. He was left with no choice but to fight fire with fire, and throw bombs. There was little sweet science in his work which was unusual obviously for Lewis.

In his prime Lewis might have fought a more measured and controlled fight, and broken Vitali down more systematically and stopped him late. Perhaps around rounds 8 - 10. It still would have been a tough fight.
