A poorly conditioned and tired Vitali took Lewis' best punches. As we know good conditioning improves punch resistance. I think there is very little chance of Lewis knocking out or even hurting a Vitali who has actually trained for a 12 round championship fight.

Vitali had normal preperation and still lost to an over the hill version of Lewis and lets not also forget Rahman the man in the pictures you posted made Vitali retire....:hi:

    Lewis would win on points.

Just cos Vitali got cut in that fight, doesn't mean that every fight between them would be stopped on cuts.

    100% correct.

But, the truth is Vitali almost never stands in the center of the ring slugging it out like they did either. That was their egos going at it & 2 bullies trying to get the upper hand. If they fought a rematch as was planned I believe Vitali would've KO'd or decisioned Lewis.

Prime for prime I think the fight would be impossible to call. That's coming from a big fan of both fighters.

    Bull****.

No one is claiming that the fight wasn't a win for Lewis & it's rare to hear anyone claim it was an accidental cut.

The original cut was a glancing punch that grazed off the skin around the eye socket, where the skin is thinnest & the bone behind it can easily cause a cut. Lewis capped that off with those hellacious uppercuts and a few overhand rights.

Credit to Lewis, he pulled that fight out while behind on the cards.

Credit to Vitali for wanting to continue and for outpointing an ATG Heavyweight.

For the record I don't believe Vitali was in his prime for that fight. His prime was the total beatings he gave Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders & Danny Williams. You could actually say Lewis helped Vitali "find his prime"..............

See? Along comes some ****** claiming that Rahman "retired" Vitali. :-(

Vitali didn't have normal preparation for the Lewis fight either, he stepped in late when Kirk Johnson pulled out.

Vitali retired not to avoid the lowly Rahman, but to get surgery & heal from injuries that hampered him since his kickboxing days.

Those are the facts, consider yourself schooled. :good

He did and he beat him!

You have to be trolling. And this was a 38 year old unmotivated Lewis.

Stop deflecting. Lewis tears both Klitschko brothers ass up and you know it. You can't just muster to say it, and that's what you do in threads of fear of looking like an idiot. You just selectively reply to the positions you find most extreme, rather they make any prediction of your own or sorry anything of substance.

Except for Vitali who happens to have Vitalis exact size and skill, who he did actually beat whilst being his oldest unfittest and slowest...

So his prime began the fight AFTER his two losses (And last lost)? How convenient.

What's an accidental cut? A cut from an accidental headbutt? He's got to be trolling...
