Sure, Lennox kicks every ass inside 4.

    1998: Lewis 243 lbs, Mavrovic 214 lbs. Round 7.

There's an easy way to measure Lennox's prime: When he won, he was prime. When he lost, he wasn't. Simple enough.

Therefore, I change my answer- it'd be logically impossible for Vitali (or any other fighter. handfuls of fighters, or predatory jungle cats) to ever defeat a prime Lennox.

you posted a article that claimed he opened the case a couple months before the Vitali fight, what because its open means its not pending? i know what you said last time and i still say what i say cause the article proves nothing, His suit with Tyson was in session till he retired since he couldnt actively pursue the rematch clause.

obviously you dont remember me saying this last time. do you not know how court works?

its not like court is resolved the moment the case is opened lol, i hope you continue to post that article that only proves he did indeed have a pending case with Tyson and King during and after the Vitali fight when demand for the rematch was high.

actually i would like to read it again lol. you seem so sure of yourself in that post yet you really dont know what you are talking about.

Like people have said let's move on from this. The reality is that in the record books it will show Lewis at the end of a glittering career, winning a very tough bout in his last fight, against a formidable challenger who suffered extreme facial injuries which were caused by numerous punches. Vitali's corner waved the ring doctor over at the end of round six concerned with the damage he had suffered. The doctor then rightly seen fit to stop the fight.

The more I think of it, the more that logic is true for every fighter. If there were ever two genuinely prime fighters that ever met, either the result would be a draw with 10-10 rounds the entire way or the universe would collapse upon itself.

Bull****, that's not what you're implying at all. You're implying Lewis was trying to rematch Tyson to get out of a Klitschko rematch.

The fact is Lewis wanted the Tyson rematch before he ever faced Klitschko, Klitschko doesn't factor into that debate.

Post Klitschko Lewis wanted RJJ or a Tyson rematch, that's quoted BEFORE he even faced Vitali.

Also what is this session you're talking about?

    LENNOX LEWIS SCORES LEGAL KNOCKDOWN!

10.05 - Undisputed world heavyweight champion LENNOX LEWIS was granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) by Justice Herman Cahn of the New York State Supreme Court today. The TRO bars Mike Tyson and Don King from settling their lawsuits against each other without first giving Lewis' attorney, Judd Burstein, three (3) days notice so that he may make the appropriate objections. Additionally, Justice Cahn barred HBO and SHOWTIME from paying any monies they may presently owe King from past bouts, including the recent Roy Jones, Jr.-John Ruiz bout.
The TRO extends until May 19, when Burstein and the attornies for King and Tyson will return to Court to address Lewis' motion seeking to attach any of the proceeds of Tyson's suit against King, and to bar HBO and SHOWTIME from paying any money to King during the pendency of Lewis' lawsuit.
"The successful motion for a restraining order was based in part upon the complaint's allegations that King had successfully interfered with Lewis' rights to a Tyson bout," said Burstein. "The complaint further alleges that King had also sought to settle his case with Tyson through, among other things, fraud, a death threat and bribery. Significantly, we have a sworn statement from the death threat victim, confirming that such threat had occurred."
Lewis and Lion Promotions, LLC filed suit in New York court yesterday against Tyson, King, Mike Tyson Enterprises, Inc., and Don King Productions, Inc., seeking $35 million and $350 million in compensatory and punitive damages, respectively, relative to Tyson withdrawing from the June 21 event at STAPLES Center headlined by Lewis' world title defense against Kirk Johnson and Tyson not honoring the rematch clause of their two fight contract.

    So your statement:

Did Lewis not try to sue Tyson into a rematch rather then rematch Vitali?

Is infact incorrect, there is no "rather" due to Lewis suing before the fact.
The proper script is "Lewis was trying to sue for a Tyson rematch before he even faced Vitali. He was following up on that lawsuit":good

i was actually implying that he didnt retire because he was "shot" since he was still trying to fight on against other opposition before Vitali was made mandatory, since i was tired of hearing how he was shot.

can you post the full article Link to that clip please? it says he was granted a injunction but that doesn't mean the case was over or that Lewis even really got what he wanted. i'm genuinely curious on the date and how this case ended, i have a hard time finding articles about it that aren't vague.

He is hyping the Vitali fight after the Johnson fight fell trough?

Question: How is it that this fight with Johnson came along as opposed to Vitali Klitschko or someone else?
Lewis: I believe this fight is the more exciting fight. This is a guy who just had a great knockout, and he is out there trying to knock people out. People want to see what will happen when these two big men actually meet.
Emmanuel Steward: Lennox asked me if I had a preference between Johnson, or Vitali Klitshcko, and I told him I did not. I thought Vitali probably brought more marketability to the table, but in terms of the opponent, I felt that Johnson was a more dangerous opponent because he is better coordinated, punches very fast, and has much more power. I feel this fight against Johnson is the better fight.

On his plans to pursue another Tyson fight:

Question: Why is there so much interest in making another fight with Tyson?
Lewis: When we first signed for the fight, we actually signed for two fights. We have completed one. There are still a lot of Mike Tyson fans out there, and a lot of disbelievers in the first fight, and they want to see us fight again. I am the emperor. If he wants to fight, I am here. If he does not, I understand.

Well Vitali wanted a second fight and there were a lot of disbelievers unlike the Tyson fight which was conclusive, and they wanted to see them fight again...and Vitali wanted to fight...

Lewis fans moaning that he was old should read this from the man himself

Question: Do you think you will be sharp after such a long layoff?
Lewis: I am sure there will be some ring rust, but only in the first 30 seconds. You can consider me like fine wine. I just get better with age.

McCall Lewis, The ref didnt stop it too soon Lewis got knocked out real fight fans can admit that much we dont turn losses into wins like Klitschko fans

Rahman Lewis 1 again knocked the **** out we dont make excuses for that loss.

However what you failed to mention is both rematches there in which Lewis avenged both knock out losses.

Lewis vs Holyfield 1 there is nobody here that is a bigger fan of Evander Holyfield as I am and let me say this straight Lewis beat his ass... Lewis was robbed in that fight and if you think other wise your a ****ing moron.

Lewis Vitali... a well aged semi retired Lewis fought Vitali and beat him by ripping his ****ing face off with punches.. Lewis planned to retire after the Tyson fight but wanted to give Canada a fair well bout when Johnson pulled out Vitali had his opportunity BUT FAILED BIG TIME.

That cut happend extremly early and in most cases the fight would have been stopped right then and there Vitali was given more than enough time to pull it out but he ****ING FAILED TO DO SO...

    LEWIS TKO over Vitali Quitko
