    Absolutely.

We're talking about the same guy that was afraid to engage another southpaw with a reputation of a modicum of power in Sultan Ibriganov.

Ibriganov is not a bad boxer, but he was at a signficant height and reach disadvantage, relatively green with only 17 or 20 fights, and not the greatest athlete.

Still Wlad fought him as if Ibriganov could knock him out with one punch.

Against a long, aggressive, southpaw witha punch, Wlad would be in full retreat with his "new" style and considering his accuracy is terrible when he's on he move, Sanders would have no problem landing his punches with little retaliation.

Wlad, theoretically could last longer, but I doubt he has the counterpunchig abiity. I don't think it goes more than 1 round, but Wlad could surprise us and last 2.

I fail to see the humor. Sanders beat the **** out of Wlad. It wasn't even close.

What would Wlad do differently in this fight. Why don't you break it down from a technical perspective because in the first fight, he was absolutely destroyed.

Yes he beat Wlad. Well actually, the ref stopped it. But if you look at the first Pacquiao Marquez fight, Manny had Juan in much more trouble early than Sanders had Wlad, and that fight wasn't stopped. Then refused to rematch Wlad and instead signed to fight Vitali with the condition that if he won, he would have to fight Wladimir in his first defense. But, he didn't defeat Vitali and in the process got beaten up so severely that he was never the same.

    :good

At this time Wlad was not his own promoter and he does not have a trainer like Emanuel who works only for him! It was a very difficult situation.

Wlad was not scared but Sanders dropped the WBO belt and go for the WBC. After Lewis retired the belt was vacant and Vitali and Sanders where No. 1 and 2 in the WBC Rankings.

Seriously HENDO, your posts are so outlandish, I don't even know if YOU believe what you type. I think you just post a lot of what you do to get a response from others.

It's clear to see that Wladimir has made huge improvements from where he was 17 fights ago. Like I said before, his trainer, nutrition, technique, stamina, fight strategy, etc... it's all better than it was when he fought Sanders, 17 FIGHTS AGO!

Sanders dropped the WBO belt and did not want a rematch with Wlad.

    Wrong.

Sanders relinquished his WBO belt in order to get out of the Universum rematch clause. He then entered into a year long court dispute with Universum. The brothers weren't promoting themselves at the time.

Sanders got the guarantee from the WBC that they'd install him as a mandatory challenger if he dropped his WBO belt. Sanders was discussing all this with Lennox Lewis and his manager Ogun. They became the promoters of Sanders as he became the mandatory challenger for Lennox' WBC belt.

It was a pure coincidence that Sanders fought Vitali for the WBC belt. Had Vitali lost to Kirk Johnson for example then it would have been Sanders - Johson.

Greatest HW's of all time? You have got to be trolling? Wlad's chin means he would get KO'd from so many HW ATG..... The quickest KO would be from prime Tyson, in round 1 or 2.
