I remember it but not quite as you do, I don't think.

Animal fight on the same night JJJ was dropped by Philly Sutcliffe, but Davey Oliver never hit the floor? Unless I've forgotten. Many people claim that was one of the best amateur fights they ever saw - it was the night you knew Carlos was the real deal.

Carl did drop joyce i think once maybe twice in a great fight . think the footage might stil be on rte player

Great performance from Carl last night, looked a real star in the making. Rest of the card left a lot to be desired though. Rogan would have been a good addition.

 

Thats a good point, obviously lads can take a great deal more punishment earlier in the fight

Congratulations, i havent seen as much of you box as the other lads as im stuck out here in the states but that was a highly impressive performance last night, the gulf in class was huge.Good luck, bring back a world title to Belfast:good
